Hello everyone!

I work for a non-profit health clinic and here in the last 6 months or so we have started to attempt to utilize Azure and it's numerous resources and capabilities. I'm currently attempting to make a concept of our organization in Azure with my personal Azure account and was curious as to if anybody would be able to maybe meet with me about some of this set up?

On the subject of Intune within our organization:

It's set up; however, I am having difficulties getting information to sync back and forth. I would like to be able to deploy updates and things through Intune, obviously. I feel like a major issue here is nobody knows how the Azure infrastructure was set up. The last changes I see made as far as policies and things go were in 2016/2017 with the previous IT team.

I just feel like I'm kind of lost and I don't know where to start... I hope that makes some sense. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi bro, regards from Argentina. i dont know about Intune. But i have experience with infra and architecture on Azure. What exactly do you need to start your test environment? I understand that this test environment is to practice and then present a proposal to your clinic?Bicep

@peak fulcrum Absolutely, I would like to (essentially) showcase Azure's capabilities and features to the IT team. A lot of basic things would cut costs tremendously!

For example:

A VPN Connection for remote users
A means to provide REMOTE ASSISTANCE without having to worry about issuing certificates prior to the user leaving a clinic location
A storage space to store xrays and patient images (currently we have a server at every site)
Microsoft Defender replacing our current Anti-Vir
Email encryption (to replace our current 3rd party email encryption application)
Being able to push updates to devices that are managed within the company

Do you have a time we could chat maybe? I hope this gives you an idea. 🙂

Thanks!

Ok, i understand. At first, you have to design your infra. The most usefull architecture is HUB & Spoke. what does it mean? HUB is a subscription and Spoke another (or more than only one) subscription/s. In Hub subscription you will only have to put the firewall, DNS, Virtual WAN, and any other resource like those, AD, etc (only conect resources). And the Spoke subscriptions are used for anyother resources than HUB. for example... vm, storage, IaaS, PaaS, etc.

So if I have my tenant set up with say the "AD Server" already it comes with all that set up

mmm if you dont have an hybrid AD, yes.

#

you can have an on-premises AD and Azure AD

maiden swallow
#

yes, that's how the organization is set up currently

#

but i don't know how i can.... copy it over to this "sandbox" i'm making

do you plan to move all your organization servers to the cloud?

I would like to give them a working concept without anything being on prem.

A frequent argument I get from colleagues is that "it will be slower" or "it costs too much."

I know from the AZ900 and half of the AZ104 that those two claims are easily defeated. With just those things I mentioned above I could knock off about 25% of our expenses easily

i got it.. let me think a plan and a way to do it
