The Word “Muslim” Being Censored in The Chat!!!!!!!

Another issue is that the word “Muslim” appears censored as ****** in chat.

Meanwhile, other religious identities such as “Christian,” “Jewish,” “Buddhist,” and even “Atheist” can apparently be typed normally.

This creates confusion and discomfort because “Muslim” is not an offensive word to be censored ....
and should not be treated differently from other religious identities.

I need an explanation!!!!

Does this this game have an racist issue with Islamic/Arabic countries specifically???

I hope you review the chat filter system to ensure all religions and beliefs are treated equally and respectfully....

In reality, in international online games (especially those developed by East Asian companies like Nexon or Tiancity), it is not only Islam (Muslim) that gets censored. Most keywords related to major religions, politics, and ethnicities are put on a "blacklist."
However, it might feel like the word "Muslim" is censored more strictly or noticeably due to these three core reasons:

1. Developers' Extreme "Sensitivity Avoidance" Policy: Game developers use a chat filter based on a "better safe than sorry" approach. They proactively block all keywords related to topics that easily trigger arguments, hate speech, or toxic debates among players. Words like Muslim, Islam, or Allah are blocked not out of discrimination, but to prevent Islamophobia, racism, or extremists from exploiting the in-game chat. In fact, terms from other religions like Christian, Jesus, Buddha, or Jew are also heavily censored in many international game servers.
2. Rigid and Flawed Text-Scanning Algorithms: The automated censorship system is quite primitive; it doesn't understand context but only scans for matching character strings. Sometimes, a word gets censored simply because it contains a sequence of letters that happens to be an offensive slang or a banned word in another language.
3. Strict Regulations from the Chinese Market (Tiancity): Since this game is operated by Tiancity (a Chinese company), internet censorship laws regarding religious and ethnic matters are extremely strict. Online entertainment platforms are required to minimize discussions or organizing around major international religions. Therefore, developers are forced to ban these words to avoid legal trouble or risk being pulled from app stores.

Islam and Islamic is not Censored 🤷

Better do some research if u know what "research" means

• For one, look at Nexon's Censorship Policies, they have reasons for censoring a lot of words (you can ask AI if u know technology, it's 2026 u know)
• The Censorship of many words are from Maple Story, which is another famous game of Nexon, back in the far past, then Nexon just brought that Censorship system to KRR (the AI will provide some source from Reddit and explain to u)
