I can't find anything in the logs, but am curious if it's the bot or discord itself that's throwing a fit.

Basically, I've set it up so that any user that creates and manages "events" through the bot, should also be able to do it himself. (skurity)
So that's the error it's giving.
In the "Server Roles" for the roles there is special roles for event management.
Enabling those for those you want to manage events should be all that's needed!
Luckily that's one of the permissions discord manages separately.
