BO1-BO3-BO5 refers to "Best of 1[..3,5]" rounds. So in order to advance in the upper bracket you need to win 2 out of 3(BO3) races against your opponent. If you win those you stay in the upper bracket against your next opponent. If you lose 2 out of 3 you drop to the lower bracket and there is only 1 race battles (BO1) to determine your rank at the end of the tournament against the losers of the upper bracket finals.

This goes on until only 1 player is left in the upper bracket who races the winner of the lower bracket. Those 2 race each other for a total of 5 times, or at least 3 times (BO5) for the win. Winner takes all, Loser gets 2nd place. 3rd place whoever won the most BO1s in the lower bracket and so forth.

Instead of 16 participants like it his example the RR event will have a maximum of 64.

If they want 64 players to sign up then never, but I could've told them that before. You'll never find 64 German players for this game for a tournament.

If they could just make a small hop across the border and accepting entrants from France they'd be able to get 20 easily. There's so many good French players lol

Thank you for the feedback. We might consider making a tournament open for all without a dach restriction on it.
