#PseudoCoins tab cannot be hidden with Ctrl+X

On a side note, Ctrl+X isn't mentioned anywhere in-game, only the hotkey to unhide tabs
I've seen that too. I had to add pseudo-corp.github.io###pseudoCoinstab to my AD filter to deal with it
Still relevant, no response in over a week
Still relevant, nearly a month since the initial report
its likely it would be interfered with ctrl+x for the cut shortcut
You can use Ctrl+X on other tabs, though
Bump
Still relevant
This is still relevant, even more so now that more tabs are being added.
Do i ping Khafra about this? I haven't received any response in this thread for over 2 months now

The reason we are hesitant to allow to hide the tab entirely is because the tab is our main source of monetization for the game, and new players will more than likely hide the tab without considering it later
At least an option to hide it for a few days would be nice
Maybe it could be changed from a tab to a separate button in the corner or something
merged with event tab
I support both of these
it took me searching elsewhere on this discord to understand what people were even talking about here with hiding tabs since the CTRL+X hotkey isn't actually listed in the hotkeys, and I wasn't expecting it to be hold CTRL+X and left click the tab
Good point, I will add this shortly
imo maybe just remove CTRL+X entirely, and add a Display section to the settings menu with click toggles for each of the tabs' visibility (could move theme/icon set/annotation to that section as well)
and for the "hiding primary means of monetization" concern that's valid, but I also just never interact wit that feature and ignore those tabs; I think if you wanted to convert more people it might be better to dress up the right side of the settings tab a bit with more promo stuff (since, due to quarks, I OFTEN visit the settings tab)
this is maybe not a big deal because a workaround exists, but the only way i've been able to hide tabs on mac is to first ctrl-x a tab (which performs a right click), and only after that will cmd-x work with the same functionality
that may explain out some of the historic "hide tabs not working for some people"
if they keep it as a hotkey, being able to rebind will kinda solve that issue
