Hey, I just bought the game and I was so excited to play it, but after I ended downloading it, it just shows this error and nothing else.
I tried searching on internet but nothing useful appears, I also trying restarting steam and my laptop, I even uninstalled and installed all the game again. Please help me😭
It cannot be a problem of my computer requirements since I already checked it and they were just fine

From a quick google: did you try running steam as administrator?

How about making sure the game files are saved in the same drive or directory as the steam install files?

So, I'm getting this error message when trying to run Fallout 4. Anyone got any clues? I ran it through google and saw a bunch of P:0000065432 errors, but none of those fixes worked or even had anything to do with my game (Seems mods were the issue with most of them, and I don't have any mods)

Seems like it has something to do with steam updates. I haven't played in a while personally. I'll try to open the game tomorrow and let you know if I get the same error. I'm in bed already 😴

Ooh since you said laptop.... did you try playing while the laptop is plugged in and charging?

Sorry. Just going through all the stuff tried in that thread. Another was playing windowed I think? Still haven't checked my version but I have work.

I finally managed to get some time. My game opened fine, it's on version 1.20.1-main if that helps. Based on the threads I read it sounds like that error happens when the gpu settings somehow aren't high enough to run the game. But sometimes also related to a steam update issue. I'm sorry, I don't know what more to suggest.

Oh great! Darn steam! The lag can be typical. There are lots of settings you can try to adjust. In the latest conversation in #💬general-sunnyside setting shadows to low was suggested.
