Heyo people's I tried my first hand at modding and created a patch mod that changes all dateable characters to want to date you regardless of gender preference!

The mod modifies ||the values on the scale that each NPC likes to include all prefrences at the max integer allowed for their likability on the gender scale.||
BACK UP YOUR SAVE GAME
This mod is still not tested that well, as it will take time to date each person and test the outcomes.
||I did test with Parsa as he does not normally like my character and after the patch he said we need to get to know each other first.||
THIS MOD IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OTHER PATCH FILE MODS
Installation:
- Right click game in Steam
- Open properties
- Browse game files
- Go to
\SunnySide\Content\Paks - Place patch file
DateAnyone_P.paknext toSunnySide-WindowsNoEditor.pak - Run the game!
MODDING CAN LEAD TO POSSIBLE SAVE CORRUPTION USE AT YOUR OWN RISK

I will personally not be using the mod on my main save as I am enjoying the vanilla game and story.

This is amazing work! Knowing the lead writer of the game, just make sure to be kind if you love this mod a lot knowing she worked really hard creating characters and their preferences. It is a nice option to not have to remake your whole farm and game to date someone you like though! Well done!

As far as I can tell it is working. The people I was rejected by before are now saying something like "let's get to know each other better"

Unfortunately no, that's somewhere else in the code I presume. This just alters each characters preferences, nothing to do with the lock in system

While digging in files for wiki data mining, found this function in Blueprints/Social/BP_SocialManager.uasset
I am not a modder, but I imagine editing this to always pass false or something similar could be one way of trying to mod polyamory into the game

Honestly, I was also still getting rejected by Hanako as well, but I just assumed I wasn't far along enough (even though she has a tree) and I wound up locking in with Yukio

I'm having a lot of trouble with it, I would understand if it was just "Oh let's get to know each other more" but it's the same denial as the unmodded game, I'd deleted and redownloaded the mod, extracted it correctly but it's just not working.
Do I need to delete the other pak file?
Or whether it's anything to do with the game being from my girlfriend's steam library and not a copy I purchased

I gave this a test and it worked for me. I chose the same slider settings as a different save file without the mod (2-4 masculine) and was able to start dating Hanako. This was impossible without the mod in my main file as I believe she is strictly into the left side of the slider normally. By the way, the tree means friendship, butterfiles mean love. If the character has no butterflies at all after repeated hang outs I believe this means they are not a candidate for asking out. Hanako had about 4-5 butterfiles when I asked her out and was accepted.

Made a quick version of the mod for just Lucy, you can maybe try this to see if it works? I didnt make the original mod, so not sure how it was made and what might be up

At this point idk... maybe there's something else you have to do besides friendship and gender pref for Lucy
