I think that kind of mod is just too complicated since it alters the whole part of the game... especially if you expecting the npc's to move in with you.. this is just not that kind of game and if you want marriage system better go to a different game xD . Except if you just asking for a cutscene for the satisfaction that hey i am now atleast married with them

I get that but in my experiance with having seen other games do similar mods i think it could be done it would just take a little time and I bet many people would be happy to wait i reckon
plus not many other games have the beautiful design as sunnyside does ahhaa i bet the weddings would be bloody beautiful ahaha hell i'd be happy to donate to a pateron tbh
it's kinda difficult to compare sunnyside to other games when we don't know what the code of the game is like. they've stated several times that the game is coded in a very specific way so modding in something as complex as marriage would probably be impossible
Different kind of games and different coding, this game is already different since a lot of things are based on the characters preference and other things as canaria also said the devs have designed a game in their own unique way and their own specific language, it is also why we dont have that many mods yet for this game cuz it is complex enough. Modding is not easy.. it takes time and hard work
i know modding isnt easy my partner works in coding and modding as a career so i know its hard it was just a suggestion that i thought would improve the game im not bagging the devs they've done great work and the game is beautiful. Just thought i'd add my two cents on what type of mod would be cool. Thats all i was doing. 🙂
Modding marriage is theoretically probably possible but would likely require a game specific mod tool or someone who is much better at modding than any of the current modders who are active in discord
Personally I'm swamped irl and can't mod right now, but even when I was modding I was working on simpler stuff

IF NOT, can we...c-can we mod in the ability to walk on water? For "swimming doesn't always work and i'm sorta losing it sometimes" purposes?
Direct gifting would be very hard to do

First tests trying to Hide the backpack are not successful sadly.
I'm not sure if I'm getting the folder structure wrong in Unreal Editor (I'm thinking no), or I'm messing something up in Blender and or Import/Export.
It's honestly been a while for me modding UE games. Most of my experience is with Elden Ring.
I'm probably missing something stupid.
There is also 4 meshes for the backpack for some reason, in 4 different folder locations. Though 2 seem to be for Feminine and Masculine.
If anyone here could provide some insight, that would be appreciated.
I would have normally just tried to hide it via textures. But the backpack uses BC1 .dds for it's textures, so no Transparency.
Yep, I'm at a loss. Nothing I try is affecting the backpack. 🤷♂️
I mean, it's affecting it in Blender, and in Unreal Editor, just not in game.
The backpack is called "SK_PC_Backpack" if that helps. It's a skeletal mesh so that might complicate the solution.

Skeletal meshes are actually what I have the most experience with.
I was actually trying with every version of the backpack I could see. There is 5 meshes for the backpack in the Characters/Player, and Characters/Player_V2 folders.
But if it is only SK_PC_Backpack. then that helps narrow it down.
But still, I'm not exactly sure what I was doing wrong in my process of testing to make the backpack hidden.
It will be the one in Player_V2. I imagine removing the mesh should do it. Or scaling it really small. You might start a new thread if you need more help on it. You can @ me in there.

Im not sure its possible to plant trees that can be harvested, but I did get a working mod that allows you to build trees for decoration on your farm before I got railroaded by irl and stopped doing modding here

That backpack mod is not gonna happen I feel. No matter what I try, nothing is changing in game, not even changing the texture. I'm at a loss honestly.
This would be so much easier if the backpack simply used a texture that supports Alpha channels. But it uses BC1, so I can't simply Mask the backpack out in the Alpha channel.
Special K works for changing textures, it's what I've been using for textures I want to change.
But I'm limited by the current format of said textures. Some support Alpha, but most don't.
Most of the Diffuse/Albedo textures are BC1.
I'm far more used to using BC7 for my textures for other game modding, since BC7 supports the most data, including Alpha.
I wish I knew more about this to help out and make my own, but alas 
Yea... The last UE4 game I modded with my own mods, was Remnant from the Ashes. And it just worked, assuming I was using the correct files and folder structure.

Does anyone know what file the Charge/Max Energy data for the Truck and Scooter is?
i belive it is in \SunnySide\Content\Blueprints\Vehicles\Cars\PickupTruck\BP_SunnySide_PickupTruck for truck

I checked that. While I have edited both for adjusted speed and such, I did not see anything related to the Charge/Max Energy values for them in there.
For example, the Truck has an estimated 14 miles for it's battery, while the scooter has 6 miles.
I want to adjust those values.
Considering the only way to charge them is the garage, it's an inconvenience the longer you have your Day Length set.
I play with 48 minute days, so the Truck and Scooter do not last long.
I would prefer something in game for that, like maybe have an upgrade for them to attach a Solar Panel or something, so they can charge while in sunlight. Or maybe something to charge them while they are parked.
But those are not options as far as I know.

Just as 1 example, the scooter loses about 38% charge going from my farm to the university.
That is not even 1 hour of in game time for going that far for me.
Suffice it to say, they die fast.
That is with the skill upgrade too.

BTW, the "HasHud" value works how you'd expect. It removes the entire speedometer HUD that the Truck and Scooter use.
Ok, welp. This is indeed the Battery Max Charge.
That same trip from farm to university only lost 8% charge. Without the skill upgrade.
Thanks for making me second guess myself for that value lol. I probably would have just continued on assuming it was for time to top speed.
can this method be used to give myself the garage blueprint?
Sorry that's a location of a file in game file structure, blueprints are a scheme that unreal engine uses and are not related to building blueprints in game

I think modifying the skin texture(s) would do it. Just paint skin color in those areas.

I've already removed the underwear for personal use actually. And kenhes is correct, it's just the skin texture, and a separate bra texture. But also need to adjust the normal maps too, otherwise the skin won't look right.

I could alter my existing textures, remove the NSFW bits so it's just barbie style, then make that .pak if you prefer.

I've actually spent a couple days modding Cyberpunk 2077 that I got recently.

There are 10 skintones, each with a separate skin texture file.
I am using, and have only edited skintone 2. I'll need to edit the other skintones if your using a different one.
I believe my female character is using the same skin tone
