#Cannot sleep or save

Sooo I was in the mines and lost a fight, it sent me back to the entrence of the cave. I noticed the time in the corner has not changed, its completely frozen. I cannot ride my bike, save/sleep. I have tried everything that uses the X on controller (E on keyboard) and nothing seems to work? I really hope I don't have to reload my save...I did so much today T.T Any ideas? I already tried using the 'Return to Last Sleeping spot' to see if it did anything and no luck.

I am dealing with something similar. I can enter my tent and I get the screen with the calendar then I get stuck on the loading screen. I can't pause or enter the menu and I can't get passed the first day because of this. It literally was on the loading screen for six hours yesterday. I forced the game closed and when I started it up again I had no save data and had to start from scratch. It is happening again the same way for a second time now.

yeah some people said that it wasnt doing the pop up for them. Dont understand how that would happen but i hope it helps!

Seeing this post so I'll post here what happened to me so it's somewhat centralized.

I'll hide things that may be spoilers! I had just went ||deeper into the caves with sparky having just built my deck. I beat the first fight with the Oni that stopped me earlier and went deeper in. The other Onis would run up to me and just stand there. I couldn't hit E to interact with them.||

As I noticed that it was getting late, I went to leave and returned to last sleeping spot at that time. I then noticed I couldn't sleep at all at the tent. I tried looking around here for solutions and found none of them actually working at the moment. I was gonna just let myself pass out but found the clock ALSO bugged and got stuck at 23:00. During this I tried to see what else may be bugged. Turns out I also couldn't open my backpack. But everything else for the most part seeemed to be working besides interact and opening the backpack.

What ended up working for me was returning to last sleeping spot a few times and it eventually started working. I had tried swapping keybinds and also swapping to controller for a moment but neither of those worked.

The reason my system is blocking the save process is because the the game keeps trying to drop a file into my OneDrive, when that is denied access to my games. I have an entire hard drive dedicated to my games, there is no reason for it to want access to my OneDrive. The game itself is installed somewhere else entirely, why would it be doing that? I have never had a game try to do anything like that before.

Nope, everything for my steam is set for the same place.

I thought of that too, but nothing suggests that steam even knows that I have OneDrive lol.

I have multiple hard drives.

There is a document folder in my one drive, but I have several.

(You can set an exclusion in OneDrive not to sync certain foldrs, which is what I'm about to do for like nine gaming folders, and that's what I'd do to stop this.)

but you might have to give it permission to OneDrive the same. =/

Bleh, I find OneDrive to be one of the most frustrating things lol. Thank you. I will figure it out.

I am not able to give it access without completely turning off windows ransomware protection. How did you give it access to just one folder? It won't let me.

I also can't unsync my documents folder, it is apparently a required folder by One Drive.

I generically don't give OneDrive any restrictions on syncing with it, but one sec

In my case the block history for SunnySide doesn't have an Actions dropdown because I already gave it access

I was told you could stop syncing some folders in Documents.

OneDrive is designed with a certain set of assumptions that conflicts with assumptions made by some users and programs....it is what it is

I told it just allow the specific event through in the history, but it didn't seem to fix the problem. 🤦‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️
