Hello, I would like to know if we can move the greenhouse because I put it diagonally because I find it beautiful but the problem is to make my planting square.. and I cannot move or destroy it if can you please help me thank you

While in build mode on the right hand side of the screen there is an options box. Make sure you have the select and destroy buildings option selected 🙂

The sponge is to let you know if the coop/bed needs cleaning, I think the house is how you move the animal and then there is a box on animals like cows when it lets you know they are ready to be milked/ sheared depending on the animal

One last question for the plantations that we no longer want, we cannot destroy them or move them, must we let them wither?

For the ones in the ground? You can take out your digging fork and fill them in. I think control+right click? There will be a pop up II for it bottom right.
For the planters and beds there is not a way to remove them at this time. You’ll have to wait for them to die or destroy it for now

The developers put out weekly updates for the first month, and are now doing updates every other week.
Their main priority is on bug fixes, but minor features have been snuck in. After bugs are fixed, I think they have a very long list of things they want to add, although there is no set roadmap

So I finally made it to the end of the lush caves and found the elevator. I was under the impression that the elevator took me to where goji berries are but that was not the case

I also completed the ice caves and didn’t find an elevator there. Am I missing something? I’ve been looking for these berries for too long lol

This is a game that relies on time triggers. Speeding through days will break things that rely on said triggers.

Also, and I gotta say this, if you are altering your game in ANY WAY, including using a cheating engine, it makes it harder to fix any issues you may have because you’re using an outside program to mess with game parts.

Sorry it took so long to get to this. Im not sure why, could be related to mods or not, but it doesnt look like you ever got the text message to start the four legged variety quest as suspected. I was able to debug complete that cutscene so you should have access to those animals. I couldnt make it to where you would also be able to experience the cutscene though, and i had to sleep though a day to save the changes i made I can give a rundown on what happens in that cutscene if youd like to play from the save that i fixed for you here. If you have played since you sent that save, feel free to send me an updated save and i can fix that one instead. 🙂

things aren't linked as much as people seem to think they should be. crafting and building is separate from cooking. so while there are interactions between the two (like you'll need the chopping board to make food) they're not set as pre-requisites because there are multiple paths to the same end.

any of the chopping boards should suffice for the recipes to my knowledge.

For the quantity you get on sticky rice, 2 hours is about right if you're looking at realism.

But if people are getting sick of the realism on the cooking system, I can always take a look at adjusting things.

I have a question about healing between forays into the mine.
I noticed that if I sleep then when I wake up Sparky and I are healed unless I log out after saving.
If I do that then when I play again from that save file Sparky and I are not healed and I feel cheated.
I assume this is a bug and they are working on it.
I would just keep playing another day but I noticed that the longer I play the more buggy my game gets and then it tends to crash and I lose the entire day anyway.
Is there a work around to heal myself and Sparky between battles so I can avoid this issue.
I know there are things I can buy from the doctor to heal myself but how do I heal Sparky?

you get a bucket of water by equipping the bucket on your tool wheel, then going up to your water hose and interacting with it.
For the cutting board you purchase that from hoshi woodworks. Make sure to purchase them in order, so get the small one first. If you get the medium or large one too early, before progressing your cooking skill, you wont be able to place the larger ones 🙂

Youre welcome! you can use different tools on the cutting board and other cooking appliances. Its not always a pan, that is just the icon showing you can add cookware. Like the cutting board you might use a knife, bowl or something like that. Stove you could use pans. Hope that makes sense 🙂

From what I’ve seen people say, console might be slightly behind. For PC we can update the game without needing approval or waiting on people necessarily. The devs of SunnySide can make changes and upload them almost right away for you all to use.

For the console version, there is a porting team through the publisher. So most console changes will need to be made by them during their office hours.

From what I have seen, after they make a new console version. It needs to be sent out to Microsoft and Sony for approval. We can’t just upload it. It’s a bit of a process. But shouldn’t be too far behind pc 🙂

weirdly having the cat/dog beds at the edge of the houses doesn't count as sheltered. if you move it closer towards the middle of the building, it will change to sheltered.
that said, the unsheltered problem with a house doesn't seem to impact their occupants thus far.

its not a specific day that you get it, it is trigger by quests. If you do your available quests it should trigger. I dont recall exactly which quest triggers it but Im quite certain ||its not any that have to do with the caves. Its triggered then takes a few days for you to get a text message about it.||

my best guess is that its not counting one of those veggies as a veggie. Try removing the cucumber from your inventory and see if the recipe on the phone still says you have the required veggie in your inventory. I dont know what that other veggie is off the top of my head. Maybe its missing a tag 🙂

That's a bitter melon, which doesn't have the veggie tag. Other gourds like pumpkins have that tag, so not sure if that decision is deliberate or not

welcome to SunnySide! yes, there have been reports from other console players that chopping trees is causing problems - so far the recommended thing to try is to pause between swings of the axe and not just hold the button down.

with the animals, you need to ensure there's enough space around the dish for them to feed from - I normally put the bowl out, see which side they eat from and then move it back to where I want it, with that side facing outwards.

Ya battles freeze me more often too, I try to skip as much as possible, walking past outside light seems to work good, if I run I tend to get caught more often

Also the pausing as mentioned has been really helpful for me, only like 2 freezes since doing that started over weekend....I stay away from the ocean as I seem to always freeze there, trees I focus on research lab area or behind Gabes, fishing I stick to a stream near a bridge across mechanic shop

Are you high enough level to plant them? Is it the correct planting season? You should get an error popup if that is the reason though 🙂

Hmm, I'm not sure about my level. Should still be quite low since I just did my first harvest of a few potatoes. Is there anywhere to check current level? Season should be right since I bought them with spring availability. The only error I remember seeing was that it needed to be a large plot.

You can check you level at the skill tree. You do not have access to it immediatly in the game though. It is story blocked earlyish in the game, depending on the quests you focus on.|| Its after going into the caves for the first time with sparky. and you talk to kaida at the shrine||
You can check the planting requirement on the plantdaddy app too. Incase if you dont see that info you want on the seed pack 🙂

I don't recall off the top of my head what I was trying to plant. The seed packet was definitely an issue I spent about 30 seconds trying to figure out, but I eventually resolved that.

But I think I'll try progressing further once I get back. It might be a level issue.

When you want to dig, there should be two more commands next to dig, one is change grid size and the other one is change plot size. On console those two are switched out, so try both just in case, it should show you a preview of a 2x2 plot

Yeah, I saw that option. Pressing Square changed the grid to a 2x2, but I don't think it allowed me to plant the seeds still. But I'll try again later.

Artisan isn’t solely cooking/food related for a term irl. Leatherwork, ceramics, hand weaving are all other examples. It has to do with crafts and creating a product (wine and cheese) which is why cooking is its own thing.

Not sure how close you are observing your furry friends, but they will get thirsty again throughout the day. So there is a chance they are drinking water, but get thirsty again.
If you’re quite certain they aren’t drinking try moving or rotating the bowl. Make sure there is plenty of room in all sides of the bowl to be safe 🙂

Don't think so. Updating the drone just increases the signal strength so you can go farther than your position and increase the movement speed. To destroy things, go to build mode and then pick the red bulldozer icon above the blueprints. After clicking on it, click on a crafted thing and it'll be destroyed. To move things, just go to build mode and the default mode should allow you to click on an existing item to move.

So on PS5, click drone -> right d-pad to go to build mode, L3 button click to lock the screen (optional) -> use left stick to move cursor on the thing you want to move and then click on it.

No, but there has been a global storage access feature added (it will come to console soon hopefully!) that allows you to access all storage from anywhere you can interact with it - so your vehicles now act like portable storage devices. 🙂

I'm asking cause I feel like items such wood, minerals, & gems should have the same storage as when it comes to crops. Crop produce can be stored in literally 3 storage compartments in the backpack, harvest bag, & even in the bento box despite it is most certainly going to be the case that you're going to have nearby storage in your farm in the first place (aka the global cache). Meanwhile the mines practically necessitate a player to have as many gems as possible in their bag if they wish to get pass everything they need to unlock from the gates or the caches unless go through the tedious work of going back & forth the camps to access the global cache.

to move things you've built - go to your phone, drone app, [2], in the same line of buttons as the demolition mode clicking on the first option from the left corner you'll be in the select mode. Now just click on the object (your house) and you can drag it across the area.

Japonica is the hardest plant to grow, and the seeds can't be purchased. It will pop up in Plant Daddy when you reach the highest level of farming.

So there is an option you can choose to click off in the settings. By default they have it where it loads everything at once and so you have those couple seconds where it’s doing exactly that. You can try to click that setting off and see if it is a smoother experience for you. Also mess with shadows, they’re a big culprit

It’s not any shelf that will work. It’s a specific item called a display. There are two kinds a wall mounted one and a regular one.
After you make one of those you can add your item to it, and put those displays onto a shelf if you want 🙂

It would just be a random chance that they could invite you there like any other location. The ability for you to invite them there was removed since the models or something needed updating. So if they are able to invite you there its still in the game by accident. I think I saw people post about being invited there thats why I mention it 🙂

There is a way to see your friendship and romance progression in a way. But its more related to the points you have with them and not how far you are in their story. You can see points progression by|| looking at their profile in the squirrel app. The acorn will grow into a tree the further your friendship is. Butterfly's on the tree mean romance points. || If you think you might be stuck on a frienship and not getting new cutscenes when you should, you may need to progress to a certain point with someone close to them. Like family or friends. There is a hint on who you may need to talk to ||by looking at the colors of the squirrel avatar icons||

For the romance || most characters will have another cutscene, sometimes two, after locking in the love commitment ||

Getting cow milk requires you using the cream separator machine. Alternatively you can buy it at Sako's store

I think you need to use the spreader (available at the garden store ladybug). Equip it like any other tool.

Open the fertilizer like you would with lures or cards. Then equip it on the spreader like a fishing lure.

**This is only available after the quest given by the ladybug employee guy where he gives you one with some fertilizer

Hello! I have a couple of quick questions about animals. I just adopted my first pet cat, and I have a food and water bowl for, which say that they are food water cat bowls when placed. But when I save, my cat water bowl turns into a dog water bowl. How can I fix this?
Also related, how do I use the pet lead? When I try to attach the pet lead, my cat disappears after attached.
Lastly, I have 3 chickens and one cat, but my animals app doesn't list any animals. Wondering if there is still more to be unlocked before the app becomes operable / active?

Hi there! The cat/dog bowl is a known issue but your cat should still drink from the bowl. The lead I’m unfortunately not sure on, but hopefully someone in here is knowledgeable on that for you. For the last one, there’s still some goofiness with the animals and saving. Harvesting crops makes them disappear currently, but they should come back the next day.

Suggestion: start a new save. We tried our best to not cause any conflicts with previous saves on the console patches, but any time you touch the save system (which was a HUGE issue on the console port) it can have a tendency to mess things up 😦

i would definitely recommend getting through the first day before wandering into those so you have the unstuck option. i've gotten a little stuck on bamboo but usually i can jump out of it, or cut it down, but you don't have those tools on day 1 unfortunately

Other quests should come up soon, be a bit patient, just tend to your farm and explore. The meet everyone quest can be completed by talking to everyone once, if you can't find someone try the farmers market on Sunday!

1: please don't ping mods and staff for help in the game. We get to questions when we can, and pings generally mean that something needs immediate attention, which makes us think it's an emergency. 🙏
2: it takes a few weeks in game to finish the tutorial. Please be patient, follow the story and quests, and everything will unlock over time.
