The descriptions don't seem to actually do anything, focus on the list of affinities on the card. Null, Consume, or Reflect will make it so you don't take damage from a given element. So unfortunately despite being a 4*, it sounds like the one you pulled doesn't actually do anything

It kinda depends on what content you've been doing. There's leveling up each skill tree, exploring through the caves, building and decorating your farm(s), befriending the townspeople and learning about them through their conversations, etc.

I don't think there's any specific grand "endgame" here, it's just a lot of different systems you can interact with

The only thing I'm actively aware of that's non-intuitively blocked is ||house blueprints blocked behind building the chicken coop and being introduced to ranching||, but I can't say I've seen 100% of the game's content or anything so I can't personally guarntee there's no other weird content blocks. Actually I don't kow if that's 100% accurate. I imagine it probably has fits of working and not working, cause when I built my house it used the 112 clay tiles I had in my inventory and told me I still needed 8, even though there were 100 in my cache. I thought the building simply hadn't credited the 100 and waited an extra day to finish the house while I waited for the blacksmith. Now I still have that 100 extra clay tiles =/

Has anybody been able to find white roses ingame? I'm stuck on skill tree progression because of it and I've checked SunnySeed every day through spring and summer and not found white rose seeds.

||After you build the coop, you should get a message from gabe leading to a scene where he introduces chickens. You don't actually have to buy a chicken, but some number of days later (a week or so), Gabe should text you again about four-legged animals. Respond to the text and go to his shop again for a scene, then a day or two later Phillip should text you for a scene at the woodworks which will unlock the Barn and House blueprints for sale||

allegedly you should eventually (like, fall/winter of year one) get a text from the town council about being able to buy the other plots of land. I believe it's just getting extra land as opposed to moving away from the one you start on but I can't personally confirm

depends on the number of chickens you have. A single chicken won't use up the entire feed or water in a single day, but you'll be able to top them off as they start to become depleted.

you also don't strictly speaking have to change out the bedding every day, you're just able to every day and you do get some ranching EXP from it.

Keep in mind that if you refill feeders every day you're wasting a bag of food to replenish one day's worth of servings. So I would either keep 2 feeders/waterers out so it's obvious when one empties so you maximize the bag of food, or wait till it's empty to replenish.

If you don't want to risk the chickens being hungry on that 'last day' when you notice the feeder is empty, I'd simply buy/place 2 feeders.

I haven't had any bugs with my chickens. The chckens sleep on the bars above the bedding area so you can kind of eyeball when the pile of gunk is high enough to change out.

I know lots of folks complained about the cost of hay/feed compared to the value of eggs, but when you take into account that you only have to use the hay/feed once an ingame week, it isn't so bad, especially once you get the skills that make them produce extra and get hungry/thirsty slower.

This is how I have mine set up. They have plenty of room to get to any feeder/waterer, and room to run around in front.

Then in the back I have this, so I can get to the bedding without using a bunch of extra fencing or letting them out on accident.

So I can change bedding from outside the fence, and technically loot the eggs from there too.

I wish the starting farm area were more squared in a way, I have to fight my OCD a lot on weird stuff like those fences in the back not being straight 😂

After you restore all 4 power stations then you can follow their glowing tubes to the main console you have to activate, and after that you should get access to a door leading to a Guardian fight.||

Different kinds of milk can't generally substitute for one another in recipes. Just like wool.

Main exception being ||the Cream Separator output, which will convert the different milk qualities to a basic "(species) Milk" item.|| But you still can't use sheep or goat milk in place of cow milk even then.

||honestly, you're reaching the point where the best defense is a good offense. The mandatory enemy groups are going to be a mix of attacking elements, your best bet is to make money, buy a bunch ofuda packs, and sort through them to bring strong attacks that can one or two shot the mid bosses.||

Hey Im Having Hecka difficulties with the delivering insects and birds photos I can capture an image but im not sure if it actually does anything when I take the picture

you will notice when you catch an insect or a bird, because in the critter photo mode you will receive a border around the target, when you spot on

||What I've done after getting past the first level is set up two decks. One is for the minor enemies on the way to the miniboss and guardian encounters. In that deck I keep cards that deal up to 500 damage. Then in my second deck I have all cards that deal 600+ damage, and some go up to 1200+. Anytime you hover your cards during a fight it tells you how much HP the enemy has along with what it's weak to/resistant too/etc. I also found some 3-4 star Omikuji like the one in this picture, which is pretty powerful since it heals you from damage done by one element and deflects a second element, so it essentially protects you from two elements at once.||

A simple edit to the SS.DayLength= value in the settings.ini file should be fairly simple and extremely low risk. The value you put should be an integer value in the same format you find it in. 18 is the default value and represents 1 real world second = 1 in game minute. If you want to double that (2 real seconds = 1 game minute), you can set 36. If you want to triple that, you can put 54, as examples. Ultimately it's up to you to decide how long you want the days to be, bear in mind if you set them too long you may be waiting around for long stretches of time waiting for shops to open in the morning or for certain festivals to start.

I can't remember, but it's either that it'll be fixed after you sleep and wake up in the morning, or you have to get to a save point then restart your game to fix it. I'd try just waiting till you sleep first, as I'm pretty sure that's the one.

because you still need to build animal beds in there. and how much you build is basically up to you, you can plaster the whole thing with animal beds then you have like... 8...10... a lot. but if you want it to look pretty it might be way less.

buildings as of now have literally no other purpose than of being a pretty little wrapper for stuff. even if you build a house, if you destroy it all your decorations will hang in the air 🤣

Does anyone of you know how the crop information UI you can unlock in the skill tree works? All extra information that I see after unlocking it is a small progress bar under the plant that I would assume shows the progress towards the next growing stage but that doesn't make any sense. The bar is only partially filled even when the plants are ready to harvest.

Is it just broken or do I interpret it in the wrong way?

The progress bar is the correct bar. It's misleading because with nearly all the plants, you can let them 'sit' fully matured and eventually harvest the plant for its seeds.

And I think the progress bar is based on that.

You build a machine after learning the related skill at the skill tree, then when the machine breaks you get a broken version to take to the mechanic.

Your version basically ignores the process and sounds like it allows you to get all the machines without having to progress through the skill tree normally.

Which should probably be bug reported if it isn't already known.

The other machines are built through orders at the mechanic and they require the broken versions (that you buy at the appliance shop) as part of what you need to give him to build them. So they work a bit differently than the cream separator that you can craft yourself.

I have not found a way to extend a pipe, if you want to adjust for you have to demolish and rebuild. For this reason I've more recently kept to smaller sets of pipes rather than trying to have one mega pipe.

we now have some recipes that do not work, fiddleheads require 30x "None" and the spinach salad is bugged with nuts, that we know...

but normally if you open your drone and click on q it opens the upgrade window

you can then drag your chips into slots, if possible, some work, some don't.

Put either coal or any type of wood into the flame icon on the bottom. then put the ingredients you want (like the potato) into the other sections. When ready to cook just click on the coal inside the grill that appears to "turn it on". The coals should start to turn orange when its cooking. Just keep an eye on it and don't leave it while cooking because as of this moment it also works like the rice cooker and if you leave it alone it will eventually disappear.... :/

AFAIK the spike lights are used by all the garden light blueprints and small lights are used by all the house lights, so you can use that as a guide.

Sorry, my answer was meant for @ancient cloak and I tagged you on accident 😊 For the rice seeds they will pop up during summer and if they're the seed 'on sale' at the top, but make sure you aren't filtering it out on accident. I can't remember what level they are but they aren't a starter seed, you have to level up into being able to plant them, and if you always check the 'only show my level' box you may be hiding them from yourself if you aren't the right level yet.

A trick to keep in mind is that the 'entryway' of the caves resets every time you leave. It isn't the same as the interior caves because it was designed to be accessible by newbies. So the best technique to farm lots quickly is to just go in and clear everything to the point Sparky tries to take you deeper, go back home and deposit your goods, then head back to the mine entry again.

At that point all the nodes should be respawned and you can do it all again.

The nodes in the cave 'levels' seem to have a 3-5 day respawn timer.

You can either use the water hose by spraying the waterer directly for a time, or hold a bucket and gather water from the hose into units in your inventory and put them on your action bar and interact with the waterer.

Doing individual units of water is more efficient if you don't have the electric water pump yet.
