You have to do that in order for the quest to complete

AT the farmers market you have a specific stall set aside for you to sell your goods to visitors. You need to use that in order for it to complete. Using the sell option to one of the merchants doesn't count.

Farmers market is every only twice a month. Every other week.

good news is that completing that quest isnt keeping you from doing other things 🙂 Completion of that doesn't lock other quests i mean

Yea so far I'm having a blast I knew from the demo this game was gonna be special I've tried to find my new stardew for years and this is the best of the bunch yet just wish it performed better on rog ally but I like it so much I'm powering through performance issues

Not sure if you saw the post on steam but optimization is the first thing the team is tackling. The first performance patch should be out in a couple of days. It will be the first of many updates!
