The Lavaiathan is a huge serpent found in the lava lakes of the nether, Its scales are special ones that make it immune to fire, and its fins are made of blackstone which makes it faster, it has a rare chance of spawning in large lava lakes, it has multiple attacks: first is the pounce, it dives deep into lava then jumps at players sitting on ledges and kill them. second is the ambush, it waits for unsuspecting players near lava then chomps them and either: just chomps them, does a deathroll which prevents you from moving or throw them. last is summoning small lava piranha minions to rip you to shreds. if you do manage to slay this beast(best tactic is to shoot at it because if you get close to it you're already dead), it drops one of 2 items, lavaiathan scale and lavaiathan claw, the lavaiathan scale is combined with leather to make boots that allow you to swim in lava(doesnt give fire resistance), and the claw is used to make a dagger that sets people on fire. oh and the piranhas drop raw lava piranha which gives fire resistance for 10 seconds.
