So I am actually surprised that so many ppl leave hololive ( they really take good care ) but for totally other reasons than other corpo's which graduations in the past was happening.
But I get it IF they want to be a primarily a Streamer WITHOUT the idol singing / music production and the rules u have to follow as an idol ( dunno if hololive follow the rules like in the actual JP Idol industry ).
Often being an Idol means a lot of pressure and practicing vocals to be a good performer especially live and that is hard to pull of if you tend to have stage fright or put u under self pressure ( I am a performer in my band on the stage too so I can relate ) to get the best performance where u only get 1 try.
And if they follow the regular idol industry rules ( in japan mind u ) then stuff like not allowed having boyfriends ( for being more desireful for fans ) or needing to keep everything completely in secret and on and on....
But of course we don't know for sure what the reasons 100% are but these are my thoughts on that
