Afaik it does have set spawn points, which is what Retrobits has mapped above. These look like the exact spots I've been finding it in, though I think it takes a day or two in game for them to replenish

I also don't know if there's a hard limiter on whether you can actually dig at night, or if they're time-based and can only be dug during the day. I haven't tried walking up to one at night and seeing if I could dig there

The two C's are the above-ground chacha spawns. There's at least 2 antlion caves that can spawn chachas, mints or quartzite. The largest antlion cave near the center (slightly left of the Lab marker on map) is the salt mine, where 40+ salt can be found

Yes. One under the blue pail/bucket in the corner, another is tucked inside the foundation section of the sandcastle tower (need to build at least one wall height up to reach, about 5 cm off the ground)

There are caches you can find here too, the treasure isn't always candy. I've found caches with 3 granola bars and 7 crow feathers inside

I only recently tried using one because they seemed so rare, and they insta-heal a huge chunk of health. I think they're the best healing item in-game at the moment

i havent eaten one in my main save since i like saving things that are not renewable

and ye the flag pole tingies are realy handy since you dont have to look for them anymore ones you found them at that place

doh. inventsable was saying the same thing but I have yet to find more than a couple mints on my sandbox runs. buried treasure is the only thing I haven't pinpointed all of yet, is that what I'm missing? Or just unlucky with my antlion cave spawns?

(and I saw you put together a buried treasure map too, just haven't been at my console yet to take advantage of it!)

Ice caps are super common as buried treasure, i pinpointed all of them in the map and go harvest them almost every day

Is this all from buried treasure, or did you go north to the trash heap for the cooler spawn and icy caps container? I normally only get 20 or so per run, not this amount. That's awesome to see though lol

Did my first intentional buried treasure hunt this morning. Was finding a tier III meal in every chest that I uncovered. Is that new or were you guys already finding those? I had so many there was no way I could use them all before they spoiled...
