Hiii I've killed axl 6 times already, he isnt as hard as u think once u figure out his attacks. Just perfect block his 4 hit combos, dodge his single and double stomp, dodge his venomous hairs, and dodge his bulldozer attack. Also keep a distance from his fangs so you have as much time as you need to block. Fighting him as a solo is significantly easier than in a squad bc fighting him with a squad of 4 significantly increases his health. The pinchwacker is by far the best weapon for axl. My personal build is the mantis armor with the pinchwacker and for mutations, I use impeccable block, smasher, frenzy, and mithradism. Also for the shield, I'd recommend using the scarlet aegis which is part of the secret weapons. For smoothies, you want 7-15 lady in reds depending on how skilled you are for quick hp and 5-8 scorpiodotes to help with the venom reduction. Hope this helps:)
Also when he is stunned, hop on his back to hit his scar for massive damage but dont stay on it or he will fling you off and there are 4 different phases when you fight him so I'd recommend watching a video on his phases before fighting him

Jumping while you’re on top of his back can actually land you a decent amount of hits in. If you’re consistent, you can stay there even when he’s not stunned
