What if every day it was a random roll what bugs would be placed where? Like they refresh the corpses.

So you trek through the city as if you entered from the fae forest.

Make your way to the fortress.

Finding an even larger underground labyrinth.

The rewards are random high tier corpses to loot.

A disc.

And lots of yellow crazy ant drops.

So players will have a reason to come back, as I think after 1 trip, you'll have enough Crazy ant parts, unless they are part of a tile set or something. (maybe ammo?)

What about Bug Resin walls? Made with Bug Rubber, Repair Glue, and Yellow Crazy Glands?

Yellow Crazy Ant parts could be used to make the Repair Glue also.

It doesn't matter if it comes before. It is about
a) a new use for it (thus use for all the parts in the recipes).

b) the recipe can't be found until the labyrinth so the resultant product earns that higher rank.

c) It is to make a wall set which is awesome as a high tier reward.

I don't think a super glue is required. That being said I wouldn't complain about repairs being farther between.

Yeah and Ash is just a pain to make.
That is why I suggested Bug Rubber, Repair Glue, and Yellow Crazy parts. Going through the place once would offer enough of the parts for most if not an entire base.
Repair Glue has so many different recipes it lets you use up all your miscellaneous bug parts. It would offer a wall and maybe roof/floor set that the murder hobos could get in bulk.

Like black ants from G1 but bigger and shoots acidic goo in pools/trails. Even though they're big, they aren't good fighters for their size. Perfect T2 material. They can fight but not well. And offer a unique mechanic in the acid pool/trail.

Mostly the same as last time. Should be made meaner looking. (though real ones only sting to inject acid, and they are known to make giant nests)

These have super majors which are larger than a soldier ant. They carry other ants around like a cargo train. So if attacked the regular ants jump off to help.

These are swarmers. Each swarm counts as one ant but consists of 6. When an ant is defeated it has a 30% chance to summon another swarm. They spray a thinned out acid in the air to make a thin cloud. (There were a lot of discussed mechanics for these guys, but if left too close to the real life, they would be OP)

They can't dig cuz they are so lanky, they build in existing holes, or steal from other ants, or other bugs, like termites
These guys have bigger eyes then the other ants in the list, so if they do get added, making the eyes absolutely massive would be another way to make them look different. And they would look very cute, and making one of, if not the most, dangerous bugs cute, would be funny.

the fort is in place, but it's raised up, and under it is a dungeon labyrinth, like this. and at the hart are the 7+ queens. They have dead wolf spiders and other high tier bugs. Also a disk for something stronger then ash, as these are very late game. Maybe rust or plastic? Or Elements like Spicy, Mint, Sour and the like.

How it would work, is you enter their nest, make your way passed some upgrade rocks to a room with one Trap-Jaw ant that you have to trick into munching roots to let you pass. If you kill the ant before the roots are broken through it will just spawn another one. You only get loot from the first ant.
Then you find your way to the next chamber with 3 Trap-Jaws, and again you use them to open the next path. when you kill them the old path closes.
Finally, you end up at the end of the nest, where you fight the queen and 5 other Trap-Jaws, after you win you can get to the surface again, and restart if you wish. (this and the other ant bosses needs work) "and I forgot, the numbers should scale with the number of players, example. 1_Player 1/3/4+Queen, 2_Players 2/4/5+Q 3_Players 3/5/7+Q 4_Players 4/6/9+Q. The numbers need refining"

Black headed Bull ants / Black headed Jack Jumpers

These would kind of be like the wasps of Grounded 2. They start off trapped until you find their sealed off nest and open it. Then you will find them wandering alone in a few late game places. For the boss fight, you the make a normal summoning item, if you have one in your inventory the ants near the nest watch you as you go to the summoning point without attacking, just staring. Bull ants are very smart ants, they learn, and this would be a good way to show it. It starts with 2 ants, you kill them, then 3 attack and they add tricks, then 4 ants with better tricks, and then 5 with them just fighting dirty. Then you get "Boss" level drops from the last one.

Bull Ants (AKA Jack Jumpers) commonly move into things they find. What if there was an abandoned giant "Block Men" (LEGO) castle they moved into?

Maybe the ants are in a container next to it, and in order to get to something you have to free them.

Maybe there is a rock holding the tank up, and it's blocking a tunnel to something important.

And in destroying the rock it makes the tank tip over enough for them to get out.

and when freed, they move into the castle.

maybe it has traps for the "Block Men" like trap doors, and "Spike launchers" and so on that only the Player can trigger.

only down side is, with the D&D board, the park is getting full

Yeah, this is a topic worthy of spotlighting. Ants deserve more diversity.

I agree with you that a tunnel to a nearby shop would be a little excessive.

It could be that the D&D map is made from Brick sets though?

I think the idea of a Super Major Black Soldier Ant (Shorten to Major Black Ant perhaps) would be sick.

I know that irl the Super Major ants only come out of the nest for serious situations (attacks, etc.), so it would be cool if they only showed up when using a Waft Emitter or when going deep into a Black Anthill

My idea of inch ants is that they are a T5 ant who one have around 30 ants in there nest, they are large ants they are about the size of half a cockroach

Abilities

-Normal snap

-They have massive jaws that charge up and can lunge at you holding it in it pincers which pin you make you take no damage from anything else while in its jaw and being pinned there while doing a mini game to escape, the longer the time you are in it jaws the more damage you start to take and the harder it is to get out of plus your armour starts to take damage. You can block this attack with a shield of perfect block, when you break out or perfect block this leads to a stun of 7.5 seconds

  • they will come close to you sometimes and inflict a sting which always does 1/4 of your health, can be perfect blocked

  • they can jump and dive ant you, if you run away they can jump and dive at you which pushes you over stunning you for 2.5sec

Disadvantages

-There are not that many of them so if you see one it has a high chance to be by its self, also in there nest you can find the max of 4 defending the ant hill on the top and 5 inside

  • they have very slow attacks take 2-5 seconds to attack

Behaviour
you can find them wandering and hunting larger creatures that it that it kills and brings the parts back to it nest and it is aggressive it all creatures

Drops

  • inch ant jaws
    -inch ant parts
    -inch ant glands
    -inch ant stinger
    Which can be used to make
    -inch ant pheromones from it glands which makes all inch ants ignore for 5min
  • Inch ants parts, spicy globs and jaws can be used to make fiery great sword which inflicts spicy damage and bleeding
  • Inch ants plate armour which is very tanky and with full set can inflict heavy shot leading to slams doing 3x damage every time the sword does it move where it slams down but when you slam it uses all your stamina

-inch ants stinger can be used to inflict bleeding and piercing

Inch ants can also be tamed by getting one of there eggs from a hatchery into your own and it take 24 hours to hatch (in game) but in the last 2 hours it will release inch ant pheromones which bring 3 inch ants to come retrieve it so you have to fend them off. When hatched they can do all the abilities while making all inch ants ignore you ant you can roar summoning 2 inch ants to you help but its mobility is very slow but it can jump and dive doing impact damage on the fall

I am SO disappointed they made Black Ant tiers 3... fire ants will probably be tiers 4... so we skipped tiers 2 :c I was expecting 5 different Ants colonies for each tiers... :c We will just get the same 3 ants.. I am sure they will not add Tiers 5 ants as well or they will make the termites the "Tiers 5" ants :c

Oh GOD this is so cringe... using the "It's EA" excuse... NO WAY ? It's Early Access ? I would never guess by looking at the 1/3 done map !!! The fact that the game is in Early Acces have NOTHING to do with what I said, I know how they work on Grounded, I followed all the dev of Grounded 1 Early Acces from the start, and they never added previous tiers creatures, each new updates added bigger tiers and more dangerous creatures, and my complain was about the missing tiers 2 Ant and the Fire Ant being Tiers 4 or 5 instead of 3, I can BET YOU that in 1.0 we will still get the 3 ants from Grounded 1 or maybe just one new (better than nothing but still like I said I wanted 5 ant tiers to follow Grounded 1). So no, stop with the "It's EA what do you expect ?" people like you act like if we can't say any complain about the game just because it's EA, everytime I said a complain people jump on me like fanatic and act like if I am an hater, but this is otherwise, this is the goal of an Early Access to "complain" and make suggestions. This is WHY they did EA again, to build the game with us, but you fanatics always hate on people that say complains. Trap Jaw ants do look really cool for a boos, and i think that if they did add it, the weapon would take lint rope, maybe a t4 type of plant with some trapjaw mandibles which makes a rouge weapon. I personaly think that it would be cool.
