Hello Everyone,
Currently, we can build pallets to store stems or leaves, but these pallets are fixed in place. While we can move them one by one using the building placement mode, this is limited and not very practical.
The main issue is that if you encounter a threat while moving a pallet, the game exits the “build mode” and the pallet snaps back to its original spot – which can be frustrating, especially after carrying it over a long distance.
Here’s my dream feature:
-
The ability to build rails on which pallets can be adapted with wheels.
-
The ability to craft a railway handcar (pump handcar) that can pull several pallet “wagons” at once.
-
We could manually operate the handcar, but also have the option to send it automatically, similar to the zipline system in the first game.
This would allow us to quickly transport resources from areas where they are abundant back to our base or construction site, while keeping the process immersive and fun.
I can easily imagine creating an entire rail network connecting different outposts and manually hauling resources while riding the handcar.
And since Grounded 2 now allows us to ride insects as mounts, it would be amazing if pallets could also be adapted to be towed by our mounts – opening up even more transportation options.
This system would not only solve the current transportation frustration but also add a new layer of creativity and base-building strategy to the game.
