This is an easy duplication glitch in grounded 2 that just requires a buggy

I might have about a thousand quartzite and marble because they stack really high

Also like it’s most likely going to be patched before you can get anything better than wolf spider parts (I honestly just used it to make some granola bars and snail shells that’s it)

they should focus more on the game itself , people actualy payed money to test there game (what is absurb) and are unable to do so. instead of whining about a dupe. it is a co op game, not a mmo game.

Honestly at early access duping doesn’t really matter because you don’t really have good equipment

the only thing ive found this could be useful for is duping granola bars. i have the best equipment currently out maxed and granola bars are the only thing i need more of. (considering bandages are useless and smoothies can be expensive)

Honestly I want it to be patched before the axl boss comes and also I kinda don’t use any of my duped stuff besides building clay foundation and pine walls

The house where I duped some some stuff I rarely go to because there’s nothing there and I’m currently focusing on making a trophy room (I honestly don’t use the granola bars unless I’m at the duped house and are hungry or low on health)

If you are playing solo, its not really cheating. you arent affecting anyone else's game so its not really cheating. if you were in co-op then it would be a different story.

although it would be cheating you were doing some sort of any% glitchless speedrun. but i dont think grounded 2 has a speedrun community

How is it cheating? The game is a sandbox, not a competition. All it does is give players an option who don't enjoy grinding for materials, but you don't have to use it, and it doesn't give you any ADVANTAGE over another player, so again, how is it cheating? Are you cheating when you use a drill to install a screw instead of a screwdriver?

I'm not sure how this even works, you're just placing one stack on top of another and it's adding both? Doesn't seem to work on PC

Yes it does, but you have to do it in a certain way. But it works on PC on steam 100% of the time. There is also a way to duplicate weapons, which I did for the special weapons that have no materials in game to repair (Ice sicles and Spicy Coaltana)

Interesting, the weapon trick worked for me and the stackables APPEAR like they work, but when I exit the menu and come back, they're gone. Not sure how else one would do it so that it works.

These are the steps I've seen done, there might be multiple ways, some steps may not be needed, but this is how it works for me.

Call your buggy, have at least 2 of what you want to duplicate, then access an empty storage trunk, click on your item you want to duplicate, then switch to buggy inventory tab and place in the top left spot. Then hold x to transfer all to storage, then click on the items in storage and move them to the bottom left of storage. Then press L3 and remove all but 1 back to your buggy. Then move them in buggy to bottom right spot, then click on them and then click on the bottom left corner where you have the storage to add. Repeat until slot is full. If you use a mod for bigger stacks, you can create up to 999. Then exit chest, re-enter chest and transfer all items back to your inventory. Close chest, save.

Done.

I'm playing with a friend and he abuse this, hate it! I mean for the fun of early access is fine as there are annoying stuff like missing weapons, materials, etc (like my purple spear and shield dissappearing) but really hope they fix it soon lol we are playing on hard and since this game it's so... You get the point.

Does it work in Multi-player too? If yes, that sucks. Using it in single player isn't that bad, especially when custom game setting aren't released yet. But multi-player....nah

Yes! we are sharing a world and the worst it's he created it lol cuz I wanted to wipe the world in a future update saying the game delete it so we start again without the glitch 😂😂

And yeah definitely in single player it would be fine but it sucks right now

It has also affected my playability. I finished the story and the only reason to play right now would be to grind some materials for when the game expands, but now that seems like a waste of time.

I've just been using it to build like crazy, I have bridges going throughout the park, lol, from base to base. And I used to to add railings. It would take way too long to collect that many acorns! Now I can run on them with my buggies without falling off! Lol

I think it's good that we have the dupe ATM, the stress it puts on the game is revealing a lot of bugs. So when we have inventories full of loot the game won't bug out

The problem is, you are trying to police people having fun in their own single player / non competitive worlds.

If it was PvP then I'd agree, but Grounded is clearly PvE, so honestly, what difference does it make to you if they want to dupe their items?

I think its very stupid that you're all arguing about something that doesn't directly affect you. Games are meant to be played how the player wants to play them. If you do not want to use glitches that is perfectly fine i think its stupid to judge that. if you do then that's also fine in my opinion they take some of the grindy less fun parts out of the game. If you personally have fun playing a game one way you should NEVER be mad at someone also having fun playing a game another way.
