A recreation of the Temple Multiplayer map from the N64 game Goldeneye, the map comes with...

  1. Fully redesigned map from the ground up using Grounded assets
  2. Death counters for each player (up to you how long you play for)
  3. Random respawn for each player with starting gear
  4. Hidden rooms with extra weapons and loot
  5. Hazards in the map to give you that edge
  6. Power-ups all around the map

I was going to try this map out, but i pressed the ready up button....and that was as far as i got. Did i miss anything 🤔

yeah they way i configured the ready up stuff is that once all 4 players are ready the portals open 🙂

I had it before with spawners just in the main PVP map but there was no way for me to track deaths so it would have just been a case of running around until you got fed up haha

What I’ll do when I get the chance is update the starting zone to let people at least get geared up and go into the PvP area 💪🏼

In case anyone is curious this is the blueprint i made for the main PVP area. I built this skeletal structure with Mushroom walls and bur floors before wrapping it with garden parts like the dirt floors, slate floors and stump walls.

Afternoon all, I’ve made a quick update to the map which might make it load easier as well as remove the need for 4 players to be on the map to play (with a little caveat of course).

  1. I’ve removed the "Equal to 4" in the starting room so once you’ve used the bio-scanner your portal opens and you can get into the map. 💪🏼
  2. Removed all testing portals and links that were outside the main buildings, this should improve the speed of the load also. ⏳

With removing the initial "Equal to 4" the death counter will still work and spawn you into the correct rooms. Once you've died 5x however you will still get to the last end room which will still need 4 people in order to restart the cycle. This is something i'll look to try and figure out how to be better for just 2 people playing.

some of the GlueCrew just checked it out and becuase the condition is now set to =1 it activates all the starting portals in the main map and becuase there might be no other players in the map with you if you go into one of the other portals it will port you back to the main starting room with no way out 😦

so if you just go in yourself then just hit one portal and avoid the others. They're all in the Field Station Tents 🙂

Evening all, here are the latest updates.

  1. Disabled the start by room spawners.
  2. Added 8 spawners in the actual PVP map with pressure plates underneath (all in the science tents)
  3. Volumes added to each Spawn tent so that once you walk out, the pressure plate is set to heavy so you can’t get the loot again
  4. All tents have this mechanic so ones that you don’t spawn at will have the plate set to heavy when you get close.

Good afternoon All,

GroundedEye has had some tweaks and additions, here's a short list of whats happened...

More Weapons
There are now other ways to get new weapons in the map (not including the hidden ones we already had). These weapons will be obtained but hidden buttons but offer a lovely selection of clubs, swords and all kinds of goodness as well as turning you into a wizard 🪄

Fixed Super Key Door
The way it worked before that is if someone found the key anyone could open the door as it's using the same In Game mechanic as Survival. You can now open the door only via the button, once open you can go get your goodies which will now give you a random chance of a weapon. The door will then lock and will not be able to be opened again for another 30 seconds so you can go back and try your luck for another weapon. ⚔️

Spawning Issues
I've made some tweaks to the spawners so now each one should always give you armour and a weapon. it seemed one of the eight was having issues so i've re-linked it all so fingers crossed it's back to normal. 💪🏼

Map Updates
I've updated some little design elements where the skeletal structure was poking through and just making sure everything was in order 🛠️

Thanks to the 200+ of you who've downloaded it so far, really appreciate it. 🙂

Goooooood Afternoon Everyone, few bugs and things have been fixed...

Nail Wall
As some of you might have noticed that there is a Nailed gate in the main upper room that had one of the nails missing, this was my way in and out of the map from the original starting locations, I've moved the nail back so you can no longer jump out the map and have a look around at the lovely buildings and starting zones 👍🏼

Crossbow Access
I originally gave people Tufts when the started but forgotten that i had replaced that with Thor's Trinket, this meant that you couldn't get to the Crossbow. Ive fixed this issue by making the crossbow easier to access without the need for a tuft. 🏹

**Secret Room **
There are some hidden rooms in the map (some more obvious than others) but this room was always accessible should you have the right equipment. It used to be a one time thing but that's now been updated and after 30 seconds the room will be accessible again giving the player some extra little goodies. When they manage to get to it 🙂

As always thanks to those who have downloaded it and tried it out. I believe it's been downloaded over 240x so you guys are absolutely awesome 🙂

Good Morning All,

With the latest update and the addition of the Death Count Gizmo i've had a quick test and i can now track the death counts for each player.

When i get the chance to get on i'll update the mechanics so you can track your deaths and see who is the ultimate GroundedEye player 🙂

Good morning everyone,

GroundedEye has been updated using some of the latest gizmos.

Here’s what’s changed…

  1. We now have a fully functioning death counter for each player.
  2. All old links, starting areas and ending rooms have been removed from the map so if you were getting lag this should be fixed
  3. Cleaned up some of the items and links for weapons and extra goodies

What’s next?…

I’ll be looking to introduce an endgame mechanic so instead of counting deaths I’ll give players lives. Once those are gone then you’re in a holding area until everyone else is ready and it can be restarted.
