I'm aware that you can make certain items and content have grid lines, but i want to see the grid on the entire background/page, I've been searching for a while and everything i find is specifically talking about grids on actually stuff you're working with, i want it to by default have gridlines everywhere across the page/background.
#How can I have a grid for the entire page, not on any actual content.

is Layout Grid not what youre talking about? you can tweak a lot of how the columns & rows appear
no, this is not what im talking about, i mean for the entire background, before you've put anything at all in the design document, just the base background
oh like, outside of frames and section? figma doesnt have that in the way photshop etc do
I can't have the background have anything similer to this? https://t3.ftcdn.net/jpg/04/95/94/68/360_F_495946837_yxfxEiv2B2LPtbh4vCMScZiZxneJ7pqL.jpg
not by default. maybe theres a plugin that shows one, worth a search
