I'm currently migrating my website mockups from Invision but I miss Invision's feature of starting your preview with the design already center-aligned so it behaves like an actual site. In Figma, when previewing my 1920px wide designs on smaller laptop screens, I always start left aligned and I have to scroll to the right before scrolling down. Any solutions for this? Thanks!
#Center-align Presentation Mode - Is it possible?

Hey @knotty mulch Have you tried these different setttings yet?
maybe fit width could help
Thanks @real willow, I have been using fit width as an alternate solution but I don't think it gives an accurate representation of the design since it shrinks it rather than cropping the sides. I was hoping there was a similar feature to Invision's auto centering
Technically, you could take the whole screen and center all the contents in it quickly using autolayout
though i feel like if it is being cropped down, that is kind of inaccurate too?
but yeah you can techincally center the contents itself using autolayout
Just tried the autolayout solution but it still starts off as left-aligned in presentation mode. Do I center the whole main frame or the contents within the frame?
oh wait, sorry nevermind. Just realized that maybe that wont help either. I guess if the width of your main frame is bigger than your screen it will always be from left
my idea was more like if the main frame is just as big as your laptop screen, but you center the stuff in it would work
but i guess you cant really make it work for all screens
