#Toggle element visibility with variable

I want to show/hide an element depending on a boolean variable that I control vie a button. I read online that I could click on the eye icon in the layer and bind that to a variable. However when I right-click the icon nothing it just behaves as if a left-clicked on it. My colleague has the same problem.

Was this feature removed? It also doesn't work if I enable that Ctrl+Click option in the preferences.

Hey @formal thistle ! For me it still works. If it is possible could you share a screenshot or a video recording of what you are clicking?

I would like to do this as well, but having the same issue... right click on the eye icon behaves same as left click. To pile on, I would also like to have a conditional statement that checks if the item is visible or not thinking

OK, sorry. I take back my previous comment... right click on eye does bring up the menu, but I don't see a way to bind the visibility

  • it only works if you already have a boolean local variable. If you don't have that yet then it wont work either
