Hi @devout sage ! So figma is a design tool and not a web development tool. So whatever you will make in figma is just a design -- it won't be useable like that. For something like that I would suggest you to look into WooCommerce or Shopify, and maybe get a developer if needed

hmm, apologies for the abrupt explanation I think I need to explain it a little bit more.
So I would like to create a functioning website on it's own using the prototype tool to get things to work, I would just like to design one as a rough using figma as a tool and see how far I can go with it.
I'll be posting my progress here if that's ok?

sounds good, but just saying, with figma you can't get something that is functioning like a whatever you would add into a cart it would show up. You can set it up for specific cases like to show if a customer is adding this oone item to the cart it will look like that, but you can't make something easily that covers all cases if that makes sense

i think planning it out ahead of time can still be good though, but just letting you know the limitations + if you will end up using woocommerce or shopify to make it functioning it might be good to know its limitations too or what you can or cannot do easily
