Hey Bunee, website looks pretty well and easy to navigate. The work you have shown are short and the gif/video gives enough insight to what has been done.

One thing I would say from an interactions point of view is to maybe have auto collapse your case studies when one is open.

Other then that... not a lot to feedback on. Nice and clean.

Looks good, if you want to prototype designs in the future, you could try out https://framer.com

@mighty pebble I have used Framer before, but I figured recruiters wouldn't appreciate me using a website builder to create a portfolio as a frontend developer. Bevy looks like an interesting project. I'll definitely experiment with it in my free time. Have you used it to build games?

I haven't because it was just released half a day ago haha

Got it. I'll try it out in the future. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions.

On desktop at least, I would prefer a navigation bar that is already showing on the top (and I wouldn't need to click on the menu to open the options up). Especially because your navigations just do scrolling effect (on the home page). So it feels silly to me to have to open the menu, then choose the part and all when I could have just scrolled.

A reason why i might not realize to scroll could be because the More on: Github & Frontend part is a making me feel like it is end a bit, and there are big white spaces around it.

I also think that for your project descriptions, it could be nice if there were tags like what languages did you use, what tech stack was there, and all that. And if you used any other softwares like figma or something

#

Also, i can see it getting too much maybe if you list everything out, but also just the name of the project feels a bit too little to me. Minits, vizit, or space ranger holds almost no meaning to me

#

Maybe you could have the tags here and maybe the image too, and then if they expand they can see the details of it better

#

I would also put your icon here, so it wouldnt be generic. And I would do Your Name | Portfolio or something instead of just portfolio -- hiring managers are likely viewing and opening up several portfolio tabs at a time. So they would have a bunch of portfolio tabs open. It would be nice if they could see your name up here if they have gone to look at other ones but havent closed yours yet because they havent eliminated you yet

Oh and I might would put your github here as well

I had initially intended for this portfolio to be a multi-page website, but due to time constraints, I had to abandon that idea and convert it into a one-page website. The toggle menu was originally designed for a multipage layout, but I kept it as a stylistic element. Although, I do agree that it is a little silly.

That's not too big a deal. I'll adjust the spacing or add some kind SVG that'll let the user know that there is more content below.

Yes, this is something I've been wanting to incorporate, but introducing additional elements to the current layout would only clutter it and give it an unrefined appearance. I'll make an effort to find a solution for this, or else I may need to completely overhaul the entire layout. I'm definitely open to any suggestions as well.

"Thank you. I am aware of this. Additionally, there are several other things that are missing on the site. I was simply attempting to gather some feedback as quickly as possible, so I posted it here without adding the final touches."

I appreciate you taking the time to provide such valuable feedback.

#

@surreal plaza Also, is it okay if I add you? There are a few more things I'd like to get your views on. I promise I won't bother you too much.

I would recommend you put your email on the website to have someone copy it. People like me don't like to use built-in mail apps, I like to copy it into my own mail provider! Everything else is great, but I've got a question, what is it about the cursor?

@wanton scroll Alright, I'll gather a few more opinions on it. If the majority of them indicate their dislike, I'll either remove it or add an option to disable it.

Thank you for the valuable feedback.

I would actually also just have your resume somewhere too, which can also help with the whole email address thing.

I would also agree about the cursor not being great. But for that, my main problem is that a + look cursor usually have specific meanings and use cases. Just browsing through something is not one of it.
