#Draw in pixel

I want to paint like a square, but idk how
as now I need to use rectangles to cover things up
Iโm not sure if new ways have been spun up but the last time I needed to do this I:
made a grid of 100 frames
filled the frames
It was pretty hacky but it worked. You can then frame your frames and export if you wanted a little pixel art thing ๐

@earnest wind do you also know how to download the file?
made this atm but can't download
Make sure the frame is selected and then use the export controls in the right panel (they're towards the bottom).
also about this, can I also upload a picture in that grid of 100 frames?
I'd add the grid over top of the image* ๐
Can you link the file? I can jump in and see
is there a tutorial on youtube?
If I understand correctly, I made this
So the background image you can swap out (it's an image fill on the frame) and then I have these smaller frames called "pixels" that you can fill to create an extra image.
Check out the layers panel ๐
I see
is it also possible to make the frames smaller?
like less pixels in 1 frame?
Sure! I just made them that size as an example
Worth noting that the larger the image and the smaller the "pixel" the more intense the file gets re: performance.
gthis is 10x10, can I also do 1x1?
Well, I want the pixel to be small as possible so I can draw
Look I have this now
but I want a green 'bar' over it
and I want on the side above, that the green line laps over the grey line, and underneath I want the grey line to lap the green one
so I want to 'erase' but I can't do that in pixel..
and pixel is like tight, and the drawing function isn't
get me?
Look now I need to use frames in order to erase stuff
@earnest wind
Oof performance is really taking a hit, I made a copy of that first example with 1x1 pixels.
If pixel art is specifically what you're after I'd check out Asperite over Figma. If it's just masking certain elements you might have an easier time with SVG's or vectors, rather than a static shape like that.
yeye, ill find that out somewhere else. But how can I download this file @earnest wind
how can I export this
make sure the top level "Moneyloop design" is selected
Then use the export feature I showed you earlier. Exporting as a PNG should give you a single file
