i can say the cage also isnt gravehate
except if they are milling 3 cards, in something like hearthhull, your pulling one land while potentially feeding them up to 2 more
i use it in my higher power grave recursion deck
realm breaker is more of a supplementary card in that sense
you dont want to target the grave player, or you want other grave controlling stuff
The tree is a ramp more than anything
i think for the all versatile, if not for its price, the vacuum is one of the best
i dont think this deck lacks that ramp with all the rocks
double tapping things that taps for 3+ is already so much mana
I agree
Once I won with the current list and 2 lands
Pentand prism is one hell of a drug
i think i lost track but i was going to mention
[[abstergo entertainment]] after the desert and before erech
Ramping for lands is not great, a tutor and get cornucopia for X=0 does a better job
i dont think it fits your use
but it would be my choice because of the potential colourless fixing and returning an artifact
So basically a second [[buried ruin]]
I can see its use but I have other lands in mind before this one
the mana fixing is somehow relevant with all the colourless mana source
Fair
i am not a big fan of the mycrosynth there
but its okay
if you find the perfect artifact to copy
lol [[clear the mind]]
just saw a (spell commander) with that name too
a play test version which it can be your commander
[[remoseful cleric]] if need more hate, can add this one on top of other grave stuff
if the idea is just low cost, doesnt actually need to activate
[[sentinel totem]] can force some play the same way tormod does
my biggest issue with soul guide and stuff is the activate cost, have to have mana open
Na
The hate I am looking for has to be tutorable by the current package
Not much use in having a solution you have to rely a lot on luck to get
its only luck if there are no enough card draw
tormod crypt is less of a nonbo because you do have ways to return artifact
also. if i draw 20+ card in a single game, i wouldnt be scared of the reanimation deck and think i need grave hate for it
would just run over the board with my own game plan
So to get the current progress:
Lux artillery
Boon of safety
Chandra > Saheeli that does everything
Soul lantern > torulud cript/ghost catcher/stone of ere
(Lands will be dealt later by me. I know more or less what to do)
torulud XD
[[anime pakal thousand moon]] maybe
un-clock or whatever untapper seems fit
Legendary Creature โ Human Soldier
Whenever you attack with one or more non-Gnome creatures, put a +1/+1 counter on Anim Pakal, then create X 1/1 colorless Gnome artifact creature tokens that are tapped and attacking, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Anim Pakal.
"If we are to protect this world, we can no longer hide within it!"
1/2
assume overseer is coming back at this rate
scry bad jank
station is sorcery speed
He is
This one is cool too
loot also not netting gain
Filtering has its worth
is it because you only want aritfact creature ๐
i mean those are bulk commons if you dont mind starting with some jank and upgrade down the line
they do what you want
i think at worst, trying the cards you want to play whenever they are good or not is the best experience you can get out of both brewing and playing
much better than using the best available to you because it would end up limiting your imagination
i think this applies to a lot of fast mana (ramp), and universal card draws
a small part of why i dont like game changers in my decks
for decade
Btw what do you think of poor man tolaria academy here?
I vastly prefer them
Anything that can be protected by inspirit is immediately 10 times better in my eyes
Cmon, they are not soooo bad
Oh there is also the corgi
This one is ass tho
the station land? its expensive for me XD
they are playable but in a format where they are like 15000 cards to pick from... they are janks with some synergy
at the very least you can play them turn 2, station on commander T3 (if you have all 3 colours untapped) and start getting rid of cards in hand
but that would means MUCH more cuts
like 38 lands so you can actually discard extra stuff
idk why its both cute and morbid, its like watching an old veteran who came back with a smile on his face
thats why the type is just dog, and not cyborg/robot
the same way a human is just human
grave hate tho ๐
it literally dig up the grave and sneak it back where it came from
btw my favourite saheeli is [[sublime artificer]]
Legendary Planeswalker โ Saheeli
Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, create a 1/1 colorless Servo artifact creature token.
โ2: Target artifact you control becomes a copy of another target artifact or creature you control until end of turn, except it's an artifact in addition to its other types.
Loyalty: 5
[[tezzeret the seeker]] is it too boring ?
Legendary Planeswalker โ Tezzeret
+1: Untap up to two target artifacts.
โX: Search your library for an artifact card with mana value X or less, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
โ5: Artifacts you control become artifact creatures with base power and toughness 5/5 until end of turn.
Loyalty: 4
i kinda like the -5
Both are pretty cool
The tezzeret in particular
But I like the walkers with the more flashy last abilities
@robust socket one dude at the lgs has an extra [[flare of denial]] can I slot that in?
artifacts are mostly colourless, harder to cast it for free
I am at work, will you be on around 9 est?
Sure
You around?
On my way home
Kk
home
long story short i managed to get (some were gifts tbf) some extra pieces:
[[lost jitte]]
[[urza saga]]
[[esper sentinel]]
[[protection magic]]
Enchantment Land โ Urza's Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I โ This Saga gains "
: Add
."
II โ This Saga gains "
,
: Create a 0/0 colorless Construct artifact creature token with 'This token gets +1/+1 for each artifact you control.'"
III โ Search your library for an artifact card with mana cost
or
, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
any help for how to fit them in?
also if you see I updated the list a bit since last time you saw it
you could cut a couple lands
You sure? I improved a bit the manabase but inspirit needs to hit the field fast
Maybe the bouncelands but going below 34+3 of those flippy things seems risky
35 with MDFC is probably okay
Its worth considering at least, at some point adding cards is hard
On one hand. True
On the other these are all quite good here
Oooooh
Wait
I forgot one
[[isocron scepter]]
I would love to have this in the list
You probably want to cut fair/generic cards for these very unfair cards
like jitte makes stoneoil look a bit silly as a counter target, even though both cards are good
Oh the categories got all messed up
Stonecoil was supposed to be in the "mana sink" category
Angel of ruin can go
Stonecoil goes too
I love it but dreamtide whale has to go
Both the bouncelands
@glacial oxide how do these cuts look?
good to me
Any other comments about the deck as of now?
Inspirit, Flagship Vessel - Commander deck
List btw
Let me look
It might be possible to trim the protection package still
And scepter is actually not my favorite card, but dont let me stop you its fun
I love those old cards
Also counterspell on the stick is amazing
Really? I thought it was paper thin already
Its okay to be a proactive deck. Sometimes you can narrow down to just the 5-7 very best pieces
You can go up too, its a meta and strategy choice
And you have to counter three things with iso-counter before its destroyed to even go +1
Great with the untappers, its just fragile
Naaaaa. Just two
Since it will also eat a removal
I do like it to solidify the fortified position once inspirit is online
Also these 3 are pretty big with it even if the counterspell is the more """"fun"""" option:
[[Three steps ahead]] (i gotta pay more but the deck has ways to get mana)
[[Boros charm]]
[[Ripples of potential]]
Instant
Proliferate, then choose any number of permanents you control that had a counter put on them this way. Those permanents phase out. (To proliferate, choose any number of permanents and/or players, then give each another counter of each kind already there. Treat phased-out permanents and anything attached to them as though they don't exist until their controller's next turn.)
@glacial oxide you still around?
Im at work still, lunch break
Sorry, have a nice day
Np
Does it look good?
let me investitage
Im looking now, but what are you specifically not happy about
You might have a few too many colorless lands, and youre on the edge of how many comes into play tapped lands im willing to play
Mhmm
Since inspirit is a pretty big piece of the engine
I prefer 1 or 2 colors for that
I think I saw 4 utility colorless lands, they're all awesome
I think its heavily preference based, they're all comparable
Except urza's saga
That one is not comparable lol
That is less of a land and more of a tutor
For CIP tapped lands its hard too, they are mostly either fixing or utility
That gives mana
CIP?
I just consider them spells
Comes into play tapped
I consider CIP tapped lands as a "semi spells" in a way, and colorless lands in multiolor decks as basically full on spells.
The mycosinth garden is another land that has me puzzled
On one hand for 0-2 mana I can get another one of my best pieces
On the other trashy filter land
I end up cutting it as often as I play it frankly. Its really hard to beat just being able to cast your cards on curve
Well ye
But this deck in particular loves to abuse the cheap artifacts with counters on them
It sure does
those two I think are very cuttable
,
, where X is this creature's power.
โ Counter target spell.
