Nobody has posted here but here's where i do my rant about not banning Opalescence, the thing that makes Tide and Wave a problem, and instead banning Tide

I am now in this thread

opalescence wave is stupid

glad inlet
#

so I will be happy to be here

#

it's just not a good play pattern and it makes games of premodern feel terrible

#

and if they are even considering banning wave, to me this is proof that they should have banned the enabler for both of the parallax enchants

#

Do I feel bad for the Enchantress players if this happens? Kind of, but not really, you have other ways to win.

#

Words of War and Words of Wilding are great ways that enchantress can convert "i draw my deck" into "i win the game"

[[words of wind]] too, if you're worried about running out of ways to play enchantments

oh I have never heard of this cycle

#

tbf enchantress is a deck idk about

distant quest
#

you pay 2 into words of wind, 1 into words of fire, with 3 enchantress effects on the board, any white enchantment, and serra's sanctum

#

and that wins the game

#

or rather, it will eventually win the game

#

you are at no risk of dying because you either wind or war anything that hits the table

#

[[words of waste]] has been a beating every time i have resolved it

(not in premodern)

#

people fucking hate words of waste lmao

#

and, unironically, even the white one is pretty good, as you can combo it with Zur's Weirding in premodern

I think just banning Tide was the right call. Let the chips fall and ban anything else as needed. Now it looks like no further bans are needed.
