What parts of green and black do you think you’d enjoy the most?
You can make huge creatures (green) and then bring them back from the dead after they die or you putting them in the graveyard yourself (black)
You can also make a lot of small guys that you then sacrifice to do stuff, like draining your opponents, killing their stuff, or feeding other creatures of yours
Honestly I don't know, I just like the flavour of doing destruction for the sake of nature. I also like spiders as an animal and I saw few spider commanders. I do like GY decks though, I play tearlaments in yugioh
If you don’t have a good idea yet, you’re probably best off borrowing some decks from friends before committing to buying something, even if it’s a budget deck
If you really must buy something for yourself, buying a commander precon is a decent start as well.
It’s just sorta tough to recommend something without knowing what you’d like and I wouldn’t feel good getting you drop money on something that you don’t enjoy
I got lent a red/black phoenix deck for my first game yesterday but I would like to have my own deck so I'm not that person who constantly has to borrow a deck
I’d probably try a few more games first to get some ideas of what you’d like
I'll do that and see if I settle on a deck that I like
You could also watch some videos or read articles on different decks
This is a great resource https://www.mtggoldfish.com/series/budget-commander
Build awesome Commander decks on a 20 tix budget.
However there’s no substitute for personal experience
I don’t know anyone who plays commander semi regularly that doesn’t have at least 3-4 decks so I’m sure there’s still plenty to try. 2-3 more games should also be enough to see other people playing stuff which gives you more first hand experiences of what decks play like
Thanks a ton for the help!
