This is one of my first ever attempts at building a deck and looking for a bit of help, this deck feels like it's missing something.
#Budget Commander deck (Thalia, gitrog monster)

Bump
Bump....but again
I see you are focusing on lifegain and draining opponents, but why not put that extra life to some use
Bloomburrow stuff has some nice new tech
[[Darkstar Augur]]
Creature — Bat Warlock
Offspring
(You may pay an additional
as you cast this spell. If you do, when this creature enters, create a 1/1 token copy of it.)
Flying
At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library and put that card into your hand. You lose life equal to its mana value.
2/3
And other effects like that [[dark confidant]] or [[dark tutelage]]
Or even good old [[phyrexian arena]]
Speaking of card draw [[pitiless carnage]] is juicy
Sorcery
Sacrifice any number of permanents you control, then draw that many cards.
Plot

(You may pay

and exile this card from your hand. Cast it as a sorcery on a later turn without paying its mana cost. Plot only as a sorcery.)
Akul saw his Hellspur followers as little more than ammunition to be expended.
You are making lots of food or filling graveyard why not run [[feed the cycle]]
I can see you're not running any mana rocks
Mainly land ramp and giving tokens mana abilities
I would strenghten the land theme a bit by adding something like [[ramunap excavator]]
[[world shaper]] is a classic
If you want to stick to tokens more [[jaheira, friend of the forest]] is DIY [[cryptolithrite]]
Which makes not only your foods tap for mana but also all the 1/1s you are making
I heard [[Lunar convocation]] is very underrated
It's on a [[bitterblossom]] level in right hands
Duh, it even lets you draw cards
Also this is something you may not know before playing Thalia and Gitrog
This commander is screaming "I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE, PLEASE POINT REMOVAL HERE"
I know this because when I got to play my Lady and the Frog deck, I put a huge target on my back since everyone was annoyed by their things entering tapped
I completely shut down my friend's deck who was playing jund New Capenna precon (the blitz one), since he literally couldn't utilize blitz by attacking.
So slap some boots on this bad boy you will thank me later
[[Swiftfoot boots]], [[lightning greaves]]
Or if you're fancy, you could go for spells that make come back instantly after being pointed removal at
[[Undying malice]] [[not dead after all]] [[feign death]]
Speaking of recursion [[vat of rebirth]] is likely to go under your opponents' radar but provide great value to you
Especially when you're utilizing your foods
Another thing is sac outlets
You will be stuck with a large board of tokens that will drag attention if you are not able to consistently sacrifice things
Budget options I can think of are [[woe strider]], [[yahenni, undying partisan]], [[phyrexian ghoul]], [[viscera seer]]
Also [[spawning pit]]
And if you'd like to go for something a bit more expensive (but not much) [[ashnod's altar]]
It's all about those death triggers, drain, gain
Without a reliable sac outlet you will be stuck thinking about how to get your creatures killed so that X drains life, Teysa doubling that and so on
Awesome! That's for the advice so far, do you have any cards that you see so far that I should get rid of to swap out with some of these?
[[Vizkopa guildmage]] seems a bit mana heavy if you want to rely on it's abilities. That reminds me [[exsanguinate]] exists and is scary with access to more mana
X = 5 drains others for 5 and gains you 15. That's a neat trade for 7 mana
Yeah that is definitely really solid
Similar effect has [[gray merchant]] (cheap version) or [[kokusho]] but that one is definitely not in budget
Multiple cards match “gray merchant”, can you be more specific?
[[Gray merchant of asphodel]]
I don't know what happened to my previous message but can't see it
In that case let's repeat
[[Valentin]] is more of a graveyard hate rather than token maker
Multiple cards match “Valentin”, can you be more specific?
[[Valentin, dean of the vein]]
Legendary Creature — Vampire Warlock
Menace, lifelink
If a nontoken creature an opponent controls would die, exile it instead. When you do, you may pay
. If you do, create a 1/1 black and green Pest creature token with "When this creature dies, you gain 1 life."
1/1
Lisette, Dean of the Root

Legendary Creature — Human Druid
Whenever you gain life, you may pay
. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control and those creatures gain trample until end of turn.
"Life is as fleeting as it is vibrant. Embrace the brief blessing of a flower before it withers."
4/4
[[Pride sovereign]] is too slow to be worth it
Another addition you could make is [[nadier's nightblade]]
[[Dawn of hope]] has the same problem as the guildmage
Not great rate for incidental card draw
[[Feed the cauldron]] can be swapped for [[bake into a pie]]
Instant
Destroy target creature with mana value 3 or less. If it's your turn, create a Food token. (It's an artifact with "
,
, Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 3 life.")
Kellan heard Agatha howl when he slammed into her, heard her scream as she fell into the cauldron, but couldn't afford to think about the implications just yet.
It's also a flavor win but with less hoops to get the full value
Hmmm, I'm thinking about that [[overrun]]. It's a great finisher but aristocrats rarely go for combat damage win.
You also have [[motivated pony]] which offers more synergy
