#(4-12-24) If you had to introduce a friend to the format via a precon, which precon do you choose?

I’ve actually done this before! I was getting my friend into Magic via the Doctor Who set. I got him interested in the game with that, and we played with some simple half-size decks until the precons came out. He loves the 12th and 13th doctors, so I got him the Paradox Power precon. He’s been loving the deck and the game.
I'd probably do a pokemon starter choice system where I offer 3 precons to choose between. I think I'd go with: Hobbits Food; Pantlaza and the Urza precon.
being a newbie myself i would say something with a simple idea behind it, I got bedecked brokers and the counters system is tricky keeping up with what has what kind of counter on it, so i streamlined it to shield, +1/+1 then built onto it
i would have to say that strephan would be a fun one. has synergy while still being good
You know, “make a Pokémon team out of non-sapient magic creatures” would be a great daily MtG question sometime
It really will depend on the person, I'd find out what kind of games they like to play, what colours and strategies they enjoy, and what kind of aesthetics they are in to, and then offer them a choice of 2-3 precons that fit those criteria.
Any lost cavern of ixalan precons. Merfolk probably since it’s a fairly easy strategy. They’re all tribal so upgrades can be easy if they want. Fairly good commanders in each if they want to mix it up too.
