Hi! I made a deck with Isshin as my Commander. I’m wondering what’s like the power level of this deck. I know there are these calculators out there but I feel like they give somewhat different answers. Any help would be much appreciated.

Oooohhh interesting

So you've got a couple of really powerful cards in there, the usual suspects of monowhite good stuff all make an appearance

but I think overall your curve is quite high, you've got a slow ramp and you've got a few nonbos and not much card draw as well.

I think as a result the deck is going to be quite swingy with a lot depending on if you find Esper Sentinel or other early game quickly enough/make them stick and in its current state might be a fair matchup for an upgraded precon

(though that's without playing it or against it so I could be very wrong)

That’s interesting, because one of my friends straight up said that it was power level 8 or higher

I can see it being better than I've ranked it, because a lot of the individual cards are quite high quality.

I'd struggle to put it that high though given the lack of card draw and removal.

If it had more slowdown (Thalia etc) and more removal, it would absolutely be an 8

@swift hinge It was private for a moment, but i have changed some of the cards now, so its not the same as when i asked about it. All of the changed cards has been moved to the maybeboard

So with the current list you’ve got lots of good cards, and a good few holes that could be patched up, I’d say this is definitely mid power, I’d even saw low mid

But that’s a stretch to say that, because it’s definitely pretty solid card-for-card
