It would work perfectly with [[Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit]] since they both work with ETB's and naturally work with Counters.
So it'd be a very blinky heavy deck with strong ETB creatures, ways to search and protect the Evangel in particular, blinks, and a few Planeswalkers because why not/
I love that cleric, given me a few ideas for it
On second thought, I decided to pivot from Anafenza to building the Ironeater guy.
I don't have a Rakdos or real artifact Commander yet and he appears to be quite strong so that's my new project.
Well I've delayed this long enough. time to make a list of what I want from MH3!
Sigarda- Rosecot Knight, Charitable Levy, Witch Enchanter
Amalia- Breathe Your Last, Ocelot Pride, Sorin of House Markov
Gift of the Viper (Not sure which decks to put it in but I'd like a copy)
Landscape Lands for my Three Color Decks
Trostani- Ocelot Pride, Collective Resistance, Flare of Fortitude, Silverquill Instructor
Gwenna- Monstrous Vortex, Fanatic of Rhonas, Bridgework Barracks, Disciple of Freyalise, Eladmri, Korvecdal
Malcolm- Dreamtide Whale, Strix Serenade, Brainsurge
Elrond- Fangs of Kalonia, Evolution Witness, Nadu, Winged Wisdom
Anikthea- The Creation of Avacyn, Ripples of Undeath, Strength of the Harvest,
Izoni- Eviscerator's Insight, Shifting Woodland, Warren Soultrader, Marionette Apprentice, Flare of Malice, Flare of Cultivation
Eriette- Glasswing Grace, Fell the Profane, Essence Reliquary, Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advistor
Bess- Hydra Trainer
Imskir Iron-Eater (NEW Commander)
The Rani- Tamiyo Meets the Story Circle, Strix Serenade, Final Act
Jinnie Fay- Argent Dais, Thraben Charm, Siege-Gang Lieutenant
Ninth Doctor/Tegan- Shadow of the Second Sun, Monumental Henge
Neera- Ral, Monsoon Mage, Powerbalance
Galadriel- Evolution Witness, Eladamri, Korvecdal, Metastic Evanagel, Silverquill Instructor
Errant and Giada- Strix Serenade, White Orchid Phantom, Monumental Henge
Scratch that Nadu. Nadu is no longer a gem in my playgroup.
Finally time to update my decks again after god knows how long.
Amalia
Taking out: Archivist of Oghma, Kambal, Counsul of Allocation, Excise the Imperfect
Adding: Breathe Your Last, Sorin of House Markov, Guide of Souls
Trostani
Taking out: Queen Allenal of Ruadach, Ghalta and Mavren
Adding: Silverquill Lecturer, Ocelot Pride.
I'm kind of shocked that I find myself continously taking Ghalta and Mavren out of decks because he feels like a really powerful and distinct boss monster for token decks, especially Selesnya but I guess that overall he might be too slow and reactable to keep around in decks with the way Commander has been lately?
Jinnie Fay
Taking out: Lady of Laughter, Black Market Tycoon, Into the Fire
Adding: Siege-Gang Lieutnant, Argent Dais, Heroic Intervention
Eriette the Beguiler
Taking out: Righteous Authority, Lord Skitter's Blessing, In Bols's Clutches, Ocular Halo
Adding: Greater Auramancy, Octopus Umbra, Glasswing Grace, Pearl-Ear, Imperial Advisor
Galadriel, Light of Valinor
Taking out: Roaming Throne (It does NOT work with Galadriel's ability like I thought it did), Spelunking
Adding: Silverquill Lecturer, Tranquil Landscape
Izoni, Center of the Web
Taking Out: Lich Knights' Conquest
Adding Eviscerator's Insight
Gwenna
Taking Out: Command Tower, Wave of Vitirol
Adding: Disciple of Freyalise, Selective Obiliteration
Sigarda, Font of Blessings
Taking Out: Commander Sofia Daguerre
Adding: Witch Enchanter
Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel
Taking Out: Guildpact Informant
Adding: Dreamtide Whale
Elrond, Master of Healing
Taking Out: Netherwese-Puzzle Ward
Adding: Power Fist
Neera
Taking Out: Hit the Motehr Lode
Adding: Powerbalance
Anikthea
Taking Out: Four Knocks, Eladmri's Call, Vile Entomber, Cryptolith Rite, Druid's Repository
Adding: Composer of Spring, Stroke of Midnight, Case of the Locked Hothouse, Ripples of Undeath, Cacophany Unleashed
And that's that!
Lately I've been thinking over my Convoke deck idea and while I'm still on board with doing Boros I considered another possibility. An Ink-Treader Convoke deck.
Granted it would be another Doctor Who pairing but it'd be the [[Fourteenth Doctor]] and [[Peri Brown]]
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
When you cast this spell, reveal the top fourteen cards of your library. Put all Doctor cards revealed this way into your graveyard and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
You may have The Fourteenth Doctor enter the battlefield as a copy of a Doctor card in your graveyard that was put there from your library this turn. If you do, it gains haste until end of turn.
3/4
Legendary Creature — Human
The first historic spell you cast each turn has convoke. (Your creatures can help cast it. Each creature you tap while casting it pays for
or one mana of that creature's color.)
Doctor's companion (You can have two commanders if the other is the Doctor.)
"I'm Perpugilliam Brown and I can shout just as loud as you can!"
2/3
The way I see is that the Fourteenth Doctor not only provides the best Convoke colors all on his own and can be played on curve with Peri, but he can also become one of the other Doctors that would synergize perfectly with Peri's historic matters side of things. Namely Sixth, Fourth, Eigth, and Fifth (For Convoking shenanigans).
Then I can run a lot of Legendaries that work with the historic theme like Selesnya Sisay or that make a lot of tokens and things to Convoke with, like Trostani Discordant, Emmara, Soul of the Accord or Torsten, Founder of Benalia and obviously run the Kasla and Rem and Saint Traft from the Jeskai MOM Convoke deck too.
And ofc I can also put Augusta into the deck too which could really enable some interesting playmaking potential and possible combos.
Throw in the best Convoke spells and a few other creatures/token-makers and possibly some copying shenanigans or big spells and I could have a very powerful strategy here.
Granted with the way things are looking out, I probably won't be building either Convoke deck till fall/winter after Bloomburrow is out cause I gotta save for that set.
But hey, maybe we'll get a new Convoke Commander by then to consider as well!
Come to think of it. Time to make a buyer's list for Assasin's Creed.
Amalia- Caduceus, Staff of Hermes
Errant and Giada- Senu, Keen-Eyed Protector, What Must Be Done
Malcom, Alluring Scoundrel- Eagle Vision, Desynchronization
Anikthea- Bleeding Effect
Iskmir- Exaclibur, Sword of Eden, Smoke Bomb
Hey ya'll! It's that time of the month where I've updated a LOT of my decks!
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/personal Biggest changest were for my Selesnya decks, Galadriel, Errant and Giada, Anikthea and Izoni.
[[Bello]]
Multiple cards match “Bello”, can you be more specific?
[[Bello, Bard of the Brambles]]
Legendary Creature — Raccoon Bard
During your turn, each non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment you control with mana value 4 or greater is a 4/4 Elemental creature in addition to its other types and has indestructible, haste, and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, draw a card."
3/3
So. Bello. There's a LOT of interesting things in hindsight that could really be utilized well with him.
You can make Sagas into Creatures, you could turn your Immortal Sun and Chimil into safer board presence he can turn [[City of Fire]] into an even more legimiate threat.
I'm kind of tempted to go for a creatureless, or 'Low Creature count, high interaction' kind of deck with him.
Centered around basically keeping him around, having powerful utility artifacts and enchantments around for advantage/control and buffs, and then just having enough ramp and protection to keep Bello around for as long as possible and to keep myself alive as well.
I am very curious what other cards are going to be in his pre-con (And naturally the back-up commander) and if the overall theme they want for him IS a lower creature count deck or something else.
Though unfortunately as far as Sagas are concerned there's not a lot of mana 4 or above ones.
You could see some success with [[Ral and the Implicit Maze]], [[The Akroan War]], [[The Flux]], [[The World Spell]] (My personal favorite option), [[There and Back Again]], and [[Waking the Trolls]]
Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I — Ral and the Implicit Maze deals 2 damage to each creature and planeswalker your opponents control.
II — You may discard a card. If you do, exile the top two cards of your library. You may play them until the end of your next turn.
III — Create a Spellgorger Weird token. (It's a
2/2 Weird creature with "Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, put a +1/+1 counter on Spellgorger Weird.")
Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I — Gain control of target creature for as long as The Akroan War remains on the battlefield.
II — Until your next turn, creatures your opponents control attack each combat if able.
III — Each tapped creature deals damage to itself equal to its power.
Enchantment — Saga
Read ahead (Choose a chapter and start with that many lore counters. Add one after your draw step. Skipped chapters don't trigger. Sacrifice after III.)
I, II — Look at the top seven cards of your library. You may reveal a non-Saga permanent card from among them and put it into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
III — Put up to two non-Saga permanent cards from your hand onto the battlefield.
Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I — Up to one target creature can't block for as long as you control There and Back Again. The Ring tempts you.
II — Search your library for a Mountain card, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle.
III — Create Smaug, a legendary 6/6 red Dragon creature token with flying, haste, and "When this creature dies, create fourteen Treasure tokens."
Enchantment — Saga
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter. Sacrifice after III.)
I — Destroy target land.
II — Put target land card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.
III — Choose target opponent. If they control fewer lands than you, create a number of 4/4 green Troll Warrior creature tokens with trample equal to the difference.
I'm also very intrigued by [[Bexa, the Bounding Spring]]. With Katilda, Dawnhart Martyr being a bust I do need a Mono White Commander and in all honesty, waiting until Final Fantasy doesn't seem productive. Not only it is a GORGEOUS creature but the design encourages blinking and seems like a very efficient value engine.
Legendary Creature — Elemental Elk
When Beza, the Bounding Spring enters, create a Treasure token if an opponent controls more lands than you. You gain 4 life if an opponent has more life than you. Create two 1/1 blue Fish creature tokens if an opponent controls more creatures than you. Draw a card if an opponent has more cards in hand than you.
4/5
So I may also consider building Beza, especially since I already have a lot of Mono White cards still ready to build around.
Lemme know what you think so far on my observations.
Yeah, it really stood out to me with how many and how unique the ETBs are so I'd love to also build em.
[[Another Round]] hype!
The one thing I don't like is that my brain started thinking about it like flicker voltron where it focused on panharmonicons for it. But that's a me issue and not the card.
I'd probably just focus on it on just making a lot of value so I can play big Mono White stuff like Avacyn's and/or dominate the board, at least off the top of my head. Or maybe even pillowforty with a win con like Felidar Sovereign.
I don't want to go +1+1 counters again (And for Bello certainly don't want to make it Anikthea 2.0 so I want to be as unique with it as possible) so I'm really aiming to experiment.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/aTzZ82P9Bkui6uTxp7k_VQ Fully updated and gave a small primer to my Imskir deck.
Alright, time to share my picks for the Bloomburrow cards I've got my eye on for my Commanders as well as featuring my two new Commanders. Gruul Creatureless Enchantments Bello and Mono White Bink Value Beza.

There are a lot of updates for some of those
Not all of them are going to be confirmed used but they are cards that I'm keeping a distinct eye on and hope to pull in my two collector boxes.
Honestly kind of surprised how many tools and options Amalia got from this set in particular.
But it's deeply appreciated.
Ok so tomorrow I'll post my first [[Bello]] list.
Multiple cards match “Bello”, can you be more specific?
[[Bello, Bard]]
Legendary Creature — Raccoon Bard
During your turn, each non-Equipment artifact and non-Aura enchantment you control with mana value 4 or greater is a 4/4 Elemental creature in addition to its other types and has indestructible, haste, and "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, draw a card."
3/3
Gotta make sure I didn't oversleeve and have exactly 100 cards but I'm very excited on the direction of my (as low as possible) creatureless and noncreature heavy build.
Here is Bellos's deck! 10 creatures isn't half bad for what I promised eh? And I think it'll be good to have a lot of interaction and safety to enable the elementals I do bring out to get full value.
Tomorrow I'm going to open 2 collector booster boxes of Bloomburrow with my friend tomorrow so I am EXCITED to get some more cards for big updates to come.
Curious to see the Bello list
Ah, you went the enchantment aligned way
What were your restrictions on the list?
Low creature count really. I want to make certain that my biggest advantage, beaters, and sources of consistency came from Bello's ability.
And that I wanted to keep him out long enough successfully to enable this.
Makes sense!
I was poking around at Bello and I'm interested in your opinion of [[omenpath journey]] in it
And whether or not just searching for 1 land with the fact that Bello gives it indestructible would be good enough value
Hmm, you are right actually that the risk is very minimized with Omenpath Journey and Bello. At least on your turns
I guess I'm just anxious that it's a card that still be removed with easy effort on the opponents turn.
To basically rid yourself of up to four other lands.
If you have other forms of protection though it'd worth a shot.
I know I'd like to pick up an [[Asectism]] for sure.
No card found for “Asectism”
[[Asceticism]]
So tomorrow's big project besides building [[Beza, the Boundless Spring]] is reworking my [[Bess, Soul Nourisher]] deck to be much more token-centric.
4/5
Legendary Creature — Human Citizen
Whenever one or more other creatures you control with base power and toughness 1/1 enter, put a +1/+1 counter on Bess, Soul Nourisher.
Whenever Bess attacks, each other creature you control with base power and toughness 1/1 gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on Bess.
1/1
And being more able to protect Bess when it matters most.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/p1iKfovF8USCJa-z2gUsRA Voila! Here's the new and improved more token centric Bess!
Bess, Soul Nourisher is a Selesnya Commander attainable originally from the Cabaretti Cacophony Commander Deck released alongside Streets of New Capenna. Her goal in this deck with her as the Commander is to serve not only as our primary attacker (And Voltron of sorts albeit with +1/+1 counters ...
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/LkuYoVvoQ0G6wTizXBvglQ Went ahead and also posted my Beza, the Boundless Spring deck!
So if anyone's interested my current idea for the Convoke deck is [[The Fourteenth Doctor]] and [[Peri Brown]]
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
When you cast this spell, reveal the top fourteen cards of your library. Put all Doctor cards revealed this way into your graveyard and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
You may have The Fourteenth Doctor enter as a copy of a Doctor card in your graveyard that was put there from your library this turn.
2/3
The idea being that Peri would obviously be the main focus here but the Fourteenth Doctor can also be relied on in a pinch to be one of the really good Value doctors like [[The Sixth Doctor]] or [[The Fourth Doctor]] and it'd be somewhat a historic matters theme too as a result. Most importantly though this would give me access to all the most relevant convoking colors. Namely Jeskai and Selesnya.
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
Time Lord's Prerogative — Whenever you cast a historic spell, copy it, except the copy isn't legendary. This ability triggers only once each turn. (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic. A copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)
"This is a situation that requires tact and finesse. Fortunately, I am blessed with both!"
3/3
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
You may look at the top card of your library any time.
Would You Like A...? — Once each turn, you may play a historic land or cast a historic spell from the top of your library. When you do, create a Food token. (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic.)
4/4
And I'd be focusing on playing powerful spells with all this Convoking and getting maximum value for my creatures, using things like [[Drumbellower]] or [[Augusta]] to continually get the most value from my creatures.
Legendary Creature — Orc Shaman
, Discard a card: Draw a card.

,
: Reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a nonlegendary, nonland card with mana value 3 or less. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Put all revealed cards not cast this way on the bottom of your library in a random order.
2/2
Augusta, Dean of Order

Legendary Creature — Human Cleric
Other tapped creatures you control get +1/+0.
Other untapped creatures you control get +0/+1.
Whenever you attack, untap each creature you control, then tap any number of creatures you control.
1/3
Went ahead and updated my Amalia and Anikthea decks.
Also my Bello deck has been quite successful since I've been playing it. Won two games yesterday with it.
3-man games anyway, and one of them was when it was being piloted by my best friend.
Updated my Izoni and Rilsa Rael decks today
Also keeping an eye out for a Potential Infinite Combo I heard for my Beza deck.
[[Eldrazi Displacer]] and [[AShnod's Altar]]
I think it'll give the deck some much needed depth and a win con.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/B4kjATI0b06Bc4vUjkFN5Q Made the highly anticipated Galadriel Rework!
That's definitely a doable combo but you just need to be careful and kill the one player last.
Whoever it is who has more creatures than you do.
Agreed!
Alrighty, my updating saa is almost complete. Made big updates to Beza (Including adding infinite combos and pay-offs), small ones to Eriette, and switching Rite of Harmony for Thunderfoot Baloth in Galadriel.
All I have left to really update is Elrond, Malcom, Ninth/Tegan, and Jinnie Fay.
Oh and made another few small updates to Amalia.
OK! >XD I know you might be tired of my updates and not even remarking on said updates but here I go anyway.
I updated Trostani (Who I tragically forgot I had to update but honestly she's super optimized as is so I made only three changes), Jinnie Fay, a few more changes (That I really wanted to do) for Bess, minor ones for Beza (Namely adding Aetherflux Resevoir as an infinite payoff), and I also intend to do some more slight tweaking to Galadriel. There's so many options of cards that'd go well for her that it's hard to definitively draw a conclusion on her build.
Elrond will certainly be next on the update agenda though.
If anyone's interested, I'm going to slowly but surely start developing my future Fourteenth Doctor/Peri Brown deck and share updates. Hoping to get some feedback.
The idea is to trigger the most potent Convoke win cons like [[Joyful Stormsculptor]] and [[Wildfire Awakener]], using historic permanents as the primary convoke spells to cast to get benefits off cards like [[Kasla the Broken Halo]], having consistent untappers/interaction via things like [[Seedborn Muse]], and then get some big value pieces like copying said creatures with things like [[Quantum Misalingment]] or [[The Sixth Doctor]]
Creature — Human Wizard
Convoke (Your creatures can help cast this spell. Each creature you tap while casting this spell pays for
or one mana of that creature's color.)
When Wildfire Awakener enters, create X 1/1 red Elemental creature tokens with "Whenever this creature becomes tapped, it deals 1 damage to target player."
3/2
Legendary Creature — Time Lord Doctor
Time Lord's Prerogative — Whenever you cast a historic spell, copy it, except the copy isn't legendary. This ability triggers only once each turn. (Artifacts, legendaries, and Sagas are historic. A copy of a permanent spell becomes a token.)
"This is a situation that requires tact and finesse. Fortunately, I am blessed with both!"
3/3
It'll play more like a control deck than an aggressive or tokens deck.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/lWQMRiIsUUieplJl6DfBQA Ok here's my rough draft for it so far. Lemme know what suggestions you might have and what you think so far (No lands yet for obvious reasons but I will be sure to aim for a good four-color mana base.)
There are some cards I'm wondering if they're not included because of price
Like [[quest for renewal]]
Oh that's a good pick! Thank ya.
Making a few more updates. I feel Buyback spells will come very much in handy in this deck.
Since I could recast and also reconvoke them to get the benefits off convoke spells without feeling like I'm losing cards to play with my convoke synergies.
But now comes the tricky part where I have to do my mana base.
And so cuts will be necessary.
Note the quest has spiked a lot because of Baylen
It still stays $6 on the site.
But point taken.
Man I have so much cutting to do later ^^'
But it's worth it.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/lWQMRiIsUUieplJl6DfBQA Currently settled on 34 lands. Would love to maybe have 36 lands but right now this is what the build ultimately consists of.
Any particular ideas for cuts or add-ins would be appreciated.
(And yes, the lands will most likely be predominantly multi-colored ones. Hence why Spelunking is there so I can have said lands come into play untapped.)
Finally almost all my decks are updated. Only have The Rani (Which might not really be updated in all honesty) and Errant and Giada to do.
Ok so yeah after today, I think I'm going to have to invest in the upcoming Esper Enchantments PreCon.
Animatou or the back-up Commander I think will provide a much more fleshed out and versatile Commander option than Eriette and Eriette can work in the 99 better.
And made a few more edit to my Convoke deck.
I'm curious what they're doing with Aminatou
I saw the guess based on the product image but that's not the same thing as knowing what the intention is for the deck.
Seems like Enchantments gain miracle at the very least.
Though truthfully I would rather run the back-up than the main one in this case so we'll have to wait and see.
Started ordering my cards for the Convoke deck.
Ugh I am dreading having to order all the lands >_<
Also I couldn't find an Oath of Eorl that wouldn't make my order more expensive so I'll have to improvise or cut it for a different card.
Sidenote, offically found not only an Oath of Eorl at my store but also updated all my decks that needed updating!
Today I made notable updates to The Ninth Doctor and Tegan, Errant and Giada, and minor ones to Bess, Amalia, and Beza.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/lWQMRiIsUUieplJl6DfBQA Finally have a general idea of the Convoke deck's full card list.
(Provided Duskmourne doesn't contain anymore excellent Convoke support)
Have you considered [[Unsettled Mariner]] as a potential 14 target for this deck, protection wise and such?
Oh right I almost forgot I wanted to ut K9 into the deck ^^'
But hey this one works decently well too.
Replace Fallaji Wayfarer with House Cartographer
So yeah. Kona, Rescue Beastie.
I know I am still waiting on my homegurl Marina but KONA.
I think and see a lot of potential in him to be a more diverse, creative, and less combo-reliant take on Gwenna.
A mono-green engine that can run very smoothly in fact!
Currently made some big edits (Even if it's a few cards) to my Fourteenth/Peri Convoke deck. Taking out Descynchronization, Ojer Taq, and Ovik for Enduring Vitality, Rip, Spawn Hunter, and Heirloom Epic
I know it might run the risk of losing a win con of just turboing tokens out late game consistently (Or duplicating the ones made by Joyful and Wildfire Awakener) but I feel keeping to the decks theme and also going for some cheaper mana option cards (And card advantage) seemed a better play.
Speaking of which, it is finally time to make my Duskmourn shopping list.
This time I'm going all in on singles, no product.
Let's cover all the decks I'm going to cover.
Amalia Benavides Aguirre
Anikthea, Hand of Erebos
Bello, Bard of the Brambles
Bess, Soul Nourisher
Beza, Boundless Spring
Elrond, Master of Healing
Eriette the Beguiler
Errant and Giada
Galadriel, Light of Valinor
Gwenna, Eyes of Gaea/Kona
Imskir, Iron Eater
Izoni, Center of the Web
Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second
Malcolm, Alluring Scoundrel
Rilsa Rael Kingpin
Sigarda, Font of Blessings
The Ninth Doctor and Tegan Jovanka
The Fourteenth Doctor and Peri Brown
The Rani
Trostani, Selesnya's Voice
So starting with my cousin Amalia.
[[Cramped Vents//Access Maze]] just seems like a better Marshland Bloodcaster. It gains me life and also gives me the option to cast spells by paying life without needing to invest additional mana beyond the unlocking of the room into it.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, this Room deals 6 damage to target creature an opponent controls. You gain life equal to the excess damage dealt this way.
Access Maze

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Once during each of your turns, you may cast a spell from your hand by paying life equal to its mana value rather than paying its mana cost.
It fulfills both removal/lifegain and also a option to save mana on spells. I really like it.
[[Metamorphosis Fanatic]] ugh. I am on the fence because it does work with the recursion package I have on this deck and enables more lifegain shenanigans with the Counter he gives and being a Lifelinker already but I feel he's going to be dummy expensive >_<
Ultimately though, Amalia can better enable the Miracle casting with her Exploring and it's still very respetable value. So I probably will get it.
[[Enduring Tenacity]] seems like a way better Sanguine Bond. Definitely should replace with that.
[[Surgial Suite//Hospital Room]] Kind of a budget option for Amalia? It brings stuff back and helps build Amalia up by giving her a +1/+1 counter on her attacking. It's not a guaranteed buy but I think this enchantment Room is solid value.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, return target creature card with mana value 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Hospital Room

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Whenever you attack, put a +1/+1 counter on target attacking creature.
Onto a Commander who got a LOT of value from this set overall. Anikthea!
[[Secret Arcade//Dusty Parlors]] finally an Enchanted Evening that Anikthea can use! Also can build up some SERIOUS power even if it means hard casting Enchantments. But being able to turn all our other creatures into enchantments so they can also benefit from Anikthea's Menace anthem is huge.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Nonland permanents you control and permanent spells you control are enchantments in addition to their other types.
Dusty Parlor

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Whenever you cast an enchantment spell, put a number of +1/+1 counters equal to that spell's mana value on up to one target creature.
[[Soaring Lightscape]] also a no-brainer. Flying and Menace is a very potent keyword combination and also very solid if we don't find Familiar Ground into play. That and it can also extend our board state with tokens of its own and becomes a 4/5 Flying Menace with Anikthea out.
No card found for “Soaring Lightscape”
[[Soaring Lightbringer]]
[[Valvagoth's Lair]] I mean it IS an Enchantment and it CAN mana-fix in a pinch. Why not?
No card found for “Valvagoth's Lair”
[[Valgavoth's Lair]]
[[Trapped in the Screen]] more Seal from Existences? Yes please.
Enchantment
Ward
(Whenever this enchantment becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless that player pays
.)
When Trapped in the Screen enters, exile target artifact, creature, or enchantment an opponent controls until Trapped in the Screen leaves the battlefield.
Maggie had always wanted to be on television.
[[Ghostly Dancers]] Just naturally a great way to recur enchantments if Anikthea isn't out and also can potentially create and add to a token swarm strategy with all the enchantments I'll be putting into play. Also makes me want to put Hallowed Haunting into Anikthea.
Creature — Spirit
Flying
When Ghostly Dancers enters, return an enchantment card from your graveyard to your hand or unlock a locked door of a Room you control.
Eerie — Whenever an enchantment you control enters and whenever you fully unlock a Room, create a 3/1 white Spirit creature token with flying.
2/5
[[Optimistic Survivor]] I mean at one mana it's like, why not?
No card found for “Optimistic Survivor”
[[Optimistic Scavenger]]
[[Fear of Abduction]] actually... I think this is better than Trapped in the Screen. It's a body which is great, it has flying, it's an enchantment creature and it can potentially be used to keep one of your creatures safe from harm with its exile, so it's a pseudo boardwipe insurance.
Sure it only hits creatures but I feel this is something worth cheating out.
Next is one of my fresh from Bloomburrow Commanders, Bello.
[[Overlord of the Hauntwoods]] Everyone is saying this card is prime for Bello. I say, sure I'll give it a try.
Enchantment Creature — Avatar Horror
Impending 4—

(If you cast this spell for its impending cost, it enters with four time counters and isn't a creature until the last is removed. At the beginning of your end step, remove a time counter from it.)
Whenever Overlord of the Hauntwoods enters or attacks, create a tapped colorless land token named Everywhere that is every basic land type.
6/5
[[Enduring Courage]] just adds more aggressive value and power to your Elementals
Onto Bess and, right off the bat I found that the 1/1 Toy Story Card does not interact with her in the way thought. Their attack trigger (Dealing damage to each opponent based on its power) happens before Bess's attack buff triggers, so there's no synergy. Big sad.
[[Toby, Beastie Befriender]] one of the earliest spoilers and still the best add to Bess. Directly makes her tokens all the more scarier and is a 1/1 so it has innate synergy with her.
Legendary Creature — Human Wizard
When Toby, Beastie Befriender enters, create a 4/4 white Beast creature token with "This creature can't attack or block alone."
As long as you control four or more creature tokens, creature tokens you control have flying.
"Sure, I'm pretty small, but Gribble isn't, so I don't get scared."
1/1
[[Enduring Innocence]] not a 1/1 unfortunately but still makes for a great source of card draw in the deck.
Enchantment Creature — Sheep Glimmer
Lifelink
Whenever one or more other creatures you control with power 2 or less enter, draw a card. This ability triggers only once each turn.
When Enduring Innocence dies, if it was a creature, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. It's an enchantment. (It's not a creature.)
2/1
And that's about it for Bess ^^' Onto Beza who not going to lie, probably doesn't really NEED anything here.
[[Split Up]] a definite maybe board wipe pick up just because of how cheap it is and that it's relatively easy to play around with the blinking I have in this deck.
[[Exorcise]] similarly a very powerful mono white removal sorcery.
Elrond... ok in all honesty. I already know Elrond didn't really get any major pieces in this set so I'm going to not buy anything for him. He's pretty optimized as it stands. Onto Errant and Giada.
[[Enduring Curiousity]] a genuine a no-brainer here.
Enchantment Creature — Cat Glimmer
Flash
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, draw a card.
When Enduring Curiosity dies, if it was a creature, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control. It's an enchantment. (It's not a creature.)
4/3
[[Overlord of the Floodpits]] seems like good value. Plus I can technically cast it from the top of the library with Errant and Giada's ability.
Enchantment Creature — Avatar Horror
Impending 4—

(If you cast this spell for its impending cost, it enters with four time counters and isn't a creature until the last is removed. At the beginning of your end step, remove a time counter from it.)
Flying
Whenever Overlord of the Floodpits enters or attacks, draw two cards, then discard a card.
5/3
[[Restricted Office//Lecture Hall]] a board wipe that also provides protection for your valuable permanents? EXCELLENT option.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, destroy all creatures with power 3 or greater.
Lecture Hall

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Other permanents you control have hexproof.
That and Errant and Giada dodges the board wipe inherentingly.
Now for Galadriel!
[[Disorienting Choice]] seems like a good ramp option that doubles as removal, which is very valuable for a three-color deck.
Sorcery
For each opponent, choose up to one target artifact or enchantment that player controls. For each permanent chosen this way, its controller may exile it. Then if one or more of the chosen permanents are still on the battlefield, you search your library for up to that many land cards, put them onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle.
[[Dazzling Theater//Prop Room]] not gonna lie... Convoking could be very useful with turboing out creatures for Galadriel (Or Galadriel herself) and getting Alliance triggers. The untapping is similarly very useful when I go offensive with a built up army.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Creature spells you cast have convoke. (Your creatures can help cast those spells. Each creature you tap while casting a legendary creature spell pays for
or one mana of that creature's color.)
Prop Room

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Untap each creature you control during each other player's untap step.
[[Enter the Enigma]] seems like a cantrip I can get behind and could be useful if I need to push for a big damaging blow.
Gwenna/Kona is going to be its own thing so I don't really need to get any cards for it persay besides Kona itself. At least as of rn. So moving onto Izoni who I think got a surprising amount of love this set.
[[Convert to Slime]] half of a Decimate that also makes a big token based on the cards in my graveyard of which Izoni will be filling it up with? Perfect removal option.
[[Into the Pit]] seems very useful with Izoni's ability to just easily make a lot of tokens as sacrifice fodder and can allow her to surprise opponents with what she is able to play once her tokens are able to make mana. Plus it can also help me decide the best time to actually use Izoni's ability to add cards ot my hand if necesary.
[[Twitching Doll]] thematically appropriate, a good mana dork, and makes tokens! What's not to love?
[[Walk-In Closet//Forbidden Cellar]] pretty sure its going to be super pricey so I won't buy it right away.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
You may play lands from your graveyard.
Forgotten Cellar

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, you may cast spells from your graveyard this turn, and if a card would be put into your graveyard from anywhere this turn, exile it instead.
But I am eyeing it for the future.
[[Enduring Vitality]] generally functions as a better Citaunal Hierophants.
As for Jinnie Fay of New Capenna fame...!
[[Dollmaker's Shop//Porcelain Gallery]] this is honestly perfect for both Jinnie and Trostani since they pride themselves on making lots of tokens and then being able to buff up my 2/2 Cats or 3/1 Dogs to huge amounts based on the amount of creature tokens Jinnie has is an excellent option.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Whenever one or more non-Toy creatures you control attack a player, create a 1/1 white Toy artifact creature token.
Porcelain Gallery

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Creatures you control have base power and toughness each equal to the number of creatures you control.
[[Painter's Studio//Studio Gallery]] honestly not a bad anthem at all for Jinnie Fay with how cheap it is. You can play it turn 2, then Jinnie on 3, then something to create tokens on 4 and now you can swing with 3/2 cats instead. Also the other half can make for card advantage in a pinch.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, exile the top two cards of your library. You may play them until the end of your next turn.
Defaced Gallery

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Whenever you attack, attacking creatures you control get +1/+0 until end of turn.
Malcom. Not sure if he really got anything either tbh but let's take a looksee.
[[Zimone's Hypothesis]] maybe mid but it keeps my PLaneswalkers on teh board and always Malcolm and it has flash speed so it definitely has some synergy at least.
Instant
You may put a +1/+1 counter on a creature. Then choose odd or even. Return each creature with power of the chosen quality to its owner's hand. (Zero is even.)
"There exists a theoretical infinity between the discrete atoms of reality. I'm simply appropriating that infinity as storage space."
[[Enter the Enigma]] similarly very useful in this deck.
Rilsa Rael is up next!
[[Popular Egotist]] and [[The Swarmweaver]] are options for Izoni as a quick ammendment.
Creature — Human Rogue

, Sacrifice another creature or enchantment: Popular Egotist gains indestructible until end of turn. Tap it. (Damage and effects that say "destroy" don't destroy it.)
Whenever you sacrifice a permanent, target opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
"I know you'd want me to live, bestie!"
3/2
[[Phenomenon Investigators]] low-key is one of my favorite new cards from the set.
Creature — Human Detective
As Phenomenon Investigators enters, choose Believe or Doubt.
• Believe — Whenever a nontoken creature you control dies, create a 2/2 black Horror enchantment creature token.
• Doubt — At the beginning of your end step, you may return a nonland permanent you own to your hand. If you do, draw a card.
3/4
It just makes for a perfect Iniative enabler that also keeps drawing you cards. I'm honestly convinced it has a lot of potential for a lot of decks.
[[Mirror Room//Fractured Realm]] another maybe???? Kind of like the other big Mythic Room, might be too expensive on release so I'll wait for later.
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
When you unlock this door, create a token that's a copy of target creature you control, except it's a Reflection in addition to its other creature types.
Fractured Realm

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
If a triggered ability of a permanent you control triggers, that ability triggers an additional time.
[[Unstoppable Slasher]] just seems like a fun card to add to this deck for pressure and as something to really benefit from Rilsa's buff.
[[Silent Hallcreeper]] another really good Iniative enabler since it can deal damage for free and gives advantages.
Enchantment Creature — Horror
Silent Hallcreeper can't be blocked.
Whenever Silent Hallcreeper deals combat damage to a player, choose one that hasn't been chosen —
• Put two +1/+1 counters on Silent Hallcreeper.
• Draw a card.
• Silent Hallcreeper becomes a copy of another target creature you control.
1/1
[[Get Out]] seems like it could be versatile.
[[Enter the Enigma]] same story.
Sigarda... Um tbh, I am already intending on reworking her to be much more value oriented than she currently is so I'm not likely to get anything for her. As for my current pride and joy the Convoke Fourteenth Doctor nad Peri Brown deck.
[[House Cartographer]] for ramp, [[Enduring Vitality]] for additional mana fixing and synergy with tapping, [[Dazzling Theater//Prop Room]] for obvious reasons, [[Rip, Spawn Haunter]] for value and card advantage,
Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Creature spells you cast have convoke. (Your creatures can help cast those spells. Each creature you tap while casting a legendary creature spell pays for
or one mana of that creature's color.)
Prop Room

Enchantment — Room
(You may cast either half. That door unlocks on the battlefield. As a sorcery, you may pay the mana cost of a locked door to unlock it.)
Untap each creature you control during each other player's untap step.
Legendary Creature — Human Survivor
Survival — At the beginning of your second main phase, if Rip, Spawn Hunter is tapped, reveal the top X cards of your library, where X is its power. Put any number of creature and/or Vehicle cards with different powers from among them into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.
4/4
And [[The Wandering Rescuer]] for being a Convoke card, for protection, and utility.
Now for my other Doctor/Companion pair in Jeskai this itme...!
[[Restricted Office//Lecture Hall]] similar to Errant and Giada, it's just perfect value for a board wipe/enchantment combo.

[[Redress Fate]] could be useful here since most of my synergy pieces for the Doctor are Enchantments and I run a good amount of Artifacts too.
Sorcery
Return all artifact and enchantment cards from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Miracle
(You may cast this card for its miracle cost when you draw it if it's the first card you drew this turn.)
"I can't go with you into the House, but I can give you one chance to reverse your doom. Make it count."
Speaking of Enchantments though, I almost forgot about Eriette. I'm going to keep this simple. Redress Fate, [[Entity Tracker]] for draw, [Nashi, Searcher in the Dark]] seems like it might have rather good synergy and utility in the deck, particularly at gathering Auras for Eriette and other big enchantments, [[Inquisitive Glimmer]] for cost reduction, [[Meathook MAssacre II]] if I can afford it might be a useful utility and advantage engine, and Valgavoth's Lair for mana-fixing and enchantment land,
Legendary Enchantment
When Meathook Massacre II enters, each player sacrifices X creatures.
Whenever a creature you control dies, you may pay 3 life. If you do, return that card under your control with a finality counter on it.
Whenever a creature an opponent controls dies, they may pay 3 life. If they don't, return that card under your control with a finality counter on it.
Imskir doesn't really need anything as of rn so that leaves Trostani and The Rani.
[[Leyline of Hope]] just seems like a great and easily triggered anthem in the deck and obviously helps with the sustain even more.
[[Ghost Vacuum]] move over Dino DNA, Luigi's Poltergust is where it's at!
[[Dollmaker's Shop//porcelain Gallery]] as stated before, REALLY good for Trostani

[[Enduring Innocence]] similarly very useful draw tool for Trostani.
2/1
As for the Rani... I'm only getting [[Found Footage]] for my certain pod XD.
Considering my store's about to get all the product in tomorrow (Or most of it), I decided that I AM going to shift Eriette into the new Aminatou and buy her Commander Deck.
I just think she'll have an easier time doing her gameplan than Eriette has and I can still keep the Beguiler and aura-focus in the deck as a fresh spin.
Ok this weekend I'm going to work on changing Eriette the Beguiler into [[Aminatou, Veil Piercer]] now originally I was strongly considering keeping the Auras theme but I see a card like [[Kaya's Spirits Justice]] and it makes me wonder...
Legendary Creature — Human Wizard
At the beginning of your upkeep, surveil 2. (Look at the top two cards of your library, then put any number of them into your graveyard and the rest on top of your library in any order.)
Each enchantment card in your hand has miracle. Its miracle cost is equal to its mana cost reduced by
. (You may cast a card for its miracle cost when you draw it if it's the first card you drew this turn.)
2/4
Legendary Planeswalker — Kaya
Whenever one or more creatures you control and/or creature cards in your graveyard are put into exile, you may choose a creature card from among them. Until end of turn, target token you control becomes a copy of it, except it has flying.
+2: Surveil 2, then exile a card from a graveyard.
+1: Create a 1/1 white and black Spirit creature token with flying.
−2: Exile target creature you control. For each other player, exile up to one target creature that player controls.
Loyalty: 3
I feel there could be some potential for an interesting enchantment creatures centric build incorporating a lot of graveyard manipulation and taking advantage of doing a lot of surveiling.
On second thought, nah. I'm going to stick to what I really want to do and that is Auras.
Changing my direction AGAIN after becoming so inspired! **
I'm going to aim for a combo-centric playstyle for Aminatou, one that wins with clever synergies of the enchantment package, has consitent draw, and can control the board. A distinct change of pace from my more combat oriented ones.
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/6730Uj_4ZEGe0zpzFP2wFQ Here is my Aminatou deck!
: Exile another target creature, then return it to the battlefield tapped under its owner's control. (
,
