#(9-12-23) Now that you've gotten to play with the cards, what from Eldraine most excites you?

I'm looking forward to trying Hylda tonight even if she's a powered down version.
[[Back for Seconds]] and [[Up the Beanstalk]] are fighting each other for insertion into existing decks.
Sorcery
Bargain (You may sacrifice an artifact, enchantment, or token as you cast this spell.)
Return up to two target creature cards from your graveyard to your hand. If this spell was bargained, you may put one of those cards with mana value 4 or less onto the battlefield instead of putting it into your hand.
They're mostly uncommons if they're not commanders though.
Something I'm excited about that's not about my play directly are the standard decks that feel like old decks.
Specifically, the Cauldron combo that's a new version of Kraj's and the one with Invasion of Alara casting the adventure on [[Bramble Familiar]]
[[stroke of midnight]]
generic removal of everything for 3 mana with only one coloured pip
if you're not worried about any particular lands, stroke is a huge upgrade on Generous Gift
I'm excited about [[brenard ginger sculptor]] and also [[korvold|woc]]
Legendary Creature — Human Artificer
Each creature you control that's a Food or a Golem gets +2/+2 and has trample.
Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, you may exile it. If you do, create a token that's a copy of that creature, except it's a 1/1 Food Golem artifact creature in addition to its other types and it has "
,
, Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 3 life."
3/3
Legendary Creature — Dragon Noble
This spell costs
less to cast for each card type among permanents you've sacrificed this turn.
Flying, trample, haste
Whenever Korvold deals combat damage to a player, put X +1/+1 counters on Korvold and draw X cards, where X is the number of permanent types among cards in your graveyard.
4/4
I've been shuffling a pile of splicers around for months, this guy is perfect. And I've been looking for a jund commander for a while, split decision between Korvold and Ziatora
Stroke of Midnight is great. I also like the Courts, Beseech, Syr Ginger, and Decadent Dragon in Prosper
Same as many, I've been having a blast retooling the farie precon.
I kinda wanna do Tegwyll because faerie aggro sounds super fun
Brenard is intriguing, but I’ll have to make it a lower power deck. He underperforms from my testing.
Virtue of Courage is going to be a beast in my Urabrask Storm deck. I don't think it'll be possible to not finish a game if I get both on field
Follow up, Up the Beanstalk isn't OK.
up the beanstalk, obviously. I love it in my uwx soup decks 💜 yes I would like my force of will to go from a 2 for 1 to a 1 for 1 or even card advantage if I have multiple out. yes I would like my removal to cantrip
real talk if the card either didn't cantrip itself on ETB or was GG it would limit it at least a bit
.
