#is there a superior ccommnder to consider for a *for mirrodin* deck?

You could look into [[Osgir, the Reconstructer]] depending on what you are going for.(personal favorite for artifact/equipment decks)
If you're restricting yourself to mirrodin legends that want to rescue it and use living weapons I think Jor Kadeen is probably your best bet
For a general artifacts deck the original [[jor kadeen prevailer]] gives a universal buff to your stuff
just thought for a sec, and it sounds suuuper cool with [[white sun's twilight]]
Yeah, I had him in the 99; his 5 cost felt worse than new Jor's 2 cost
Yeah fair, recasting is not easy with 5+ mana commanders
Osgir neve came up in any kind of search for these deck parts; but I really like him for it. Even in the 99 if not the commander
Ooh, what about [[Koll, the Forgemaster]] compared to Jor?

Legendary Creature — Dwarf Warrior
Whenever another nontoken creature you control dies, if it was enchanted or equipped, return it to its owner's hand.
Creature tokens you control that are enchanted or equipped get +1/+1.
Using tyrite from a fallen Cosmos monster, Koll forged a weapon to awe Halvar himself.

Huh, thats a bit of a weird one. Seems alright. The +1/+1 to the living weapons seems somewhat underwhelming but isnt bad at two cmc. The first effect seems a lot nicer though, specially if youre expecting wraths
Yeah, ita really whether the card draw off Jor or the protection off Koll is better as the commander vs the 99
If you think you're gonna lean towards living weapons vs equpping non-token creatures I might go for Jor and the draw, WR isn't famous for being super good at keeping up CA
But if you're going for equipped non-token creatures being able to reuse them seems a lot stronger than just one card a turn
i was building it around Jor, thus focusing on equipment that came in attached to created tokens so he got their bonus right away. There are a few good equipment that auto attach and a few other standard pieces; and ways to attach for cheaper/free. But largely it was based on the value of the auto equip free token
Flavor fails aside, I might experiment with [[Brudiclad]]
Legendary Artifact Creature — Phyrexian Artificer
Creature tokens you control have haste.
At the beginning of combat on your turn, create a 2/1 blue Phyrexian Myr artifact creature token. Then you may choose a token you control. If you do, each other token you control becomes a copy of that token.

I would probably do a [[prava]] partner deck.
Oh yeah, Koll is cool, with him giving equipped tokens a buff.
You then can also use [[inspiring leader]] and they all get a base +4/+4 with both of your commanders out
Ooh yeah that's an option
There are come cool partner options that add red
I guess in terms of card advantage, Jor can draw a card a turn, as opposed to Koll returning non-token equipped creatures to hand upon death. Neither are major, but they can potentially provide some advantage
[[Akiri, fearless]] can draw you some cards as well
Legendary Creature — Kor Warrior
Whenever you attack a player with one or more equipped creatures, draw a card.
: You may unattach an Equipment from a creature you control. If you do, tap that creature and it gains indestructible until end of turn.
"No angel bars our ascent. Emeria waits above!"
3/3
I think the main difference with Jor and Koll, is that Koll hi es +1/+1 to the equipped tokens, Jor gives himself +1/+1 for each equipped creature.
, Sacrifice an artifact: Target creature you control gets +2/+0 until end of turn.
,
, Exile an artifact card with mana value X from your graveyard: Create two tokens that are copies of the exiled card. Activate only as a sorcery.
