I assume it’s as a way to maintain board control by picking off small creatures, though the mana investment is probably the rough part of it

Is people attacking into the Voltron~esque deck an actual problem? I don’t recall casual players attacking all that often, especially at low power levels

I would think attacking into a voltron deck would be a bigger problem since most of your eggs are in one creature basket

Not unless a meta is particularly flush with aggro decks, most casual decks are usually some value engine type deck into craterhoof

You do seem to have little in the way of evasion granting for zurgo unless I'm missing something, only see 2 equip for flying and 1 for trample, and an equipment creature for menace. Like [[Rogue's Passage]] is a nice option on a land

I’m just worried about Zurgo eating removal on cooldown, and to a lesser extent Gravepact decks. So if I’m going to be eating removal left right and center, why not go for the nuclear option if I get to untap with Zurgo?
