Hello all, I have this deck I started brewing a while ago and keep going back and editing it again and again trying to get it to be themed how I want and I FINALLY decided that instead of just "what EDHrec says is good" I am going with the theme of taxes! Black tax is all "You do this and lose 1 life" so I just need card recommendations that do things like that!
I already have...
Card draw tax: Sheoldred the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, Ob Nixilis, the Hate-Twisted, Curse of Fool's Wisdom
Attacking me tax: Revenge of Ravens
Gaining life tax: Tainted Remedy
Casting Spells tax: Raider's Wake, Painful Quandary
Having Mana tax: Polluted Bonds
Discarding tax: Lilliana's Caress

If you know of more let me know, the current deck list doesn't matter because I made it before deciding that this should be the REAL theme of the deck

[[Font of Mythos]] might be a good one too and there is also [[teferis puzzle box]] and [[anvil of bogardan]] but the anvil is kind of expensive

Teferi's puzzle box feels dirty, adding that for SURE, font is already in as well

but it also increases the likelyhood that someone will find a solution to their problem (the box / sheoldred 😛 )

i think it was only printed once so far in a precon. after looking closely, it might not be the best as it requires "damage" in order to trigger, while many effects in the deck cause loss of life instead
