i did try that i think and it says i need to install this android thing to be able to make quest compatible the avatar
Did you install Unity via the Unity Hub?
No through vrchat site i think the 2019 version
I recommend uninstalling Unity and re-installing it via the Unity Hub (then you can select the Android modules) plus it makes managing Unity versions alot easier.
I did thar many times and keep failing to download through the hub
I had to install the 2019 version separately
To make it work on my pc
Not sure if you get install options when not installing via the hub, you could try re-installing but this time with the Android components.
The official Unity documentation only speak of installing via the hub: https://docs.unity3d.com/2019.4/Documentation/Manual/android-sdksetup.html
I know that but I've try multiple times to install it through the hub but when it comes to the editor Imstall its just fails to install I try everything Unistall the anti virus I try to disable it and all but still kept failing to download thought the hub
Like I said this version I have works just fine I just need to figure out why doesn't let me install this plug in
All for making the avatar quest compatible.
I do not know that plugin, normal installations don't need that and I don't think it is the right way.
Where did you get that?
nvm, I found it. Seems to be the right thing. That error message means the installer is corrupted during download.
well what should i do then? i want make this avatar quest compatible but the installer itself is corrupted
Redownload the package and hopefully it will not be corrupted again.
i did and it's still happend the same error
I am not sure why your downloads get corrupted. Perhaps do a virus scan on your PC, maybe there is something that should not be there.
I did that as well in fact i had to uninstall my anti virus to make the download to even start because he thinks this installation is a virus
What Anti Virus did you have?
avast
Try scanning with Trend House Call, it does not require installation: https://www.trendmicro.com/en_us/forHome/products/housecall.html
Not sure what is wrong with your PC or perhaps your network.
