I can't get the game to recognize my controller on BazziteOS. Used Lutris to install it. Also tried the web browser version in FireFox and it still refused to work on my controller. Elite Series 2 Wireless. Works perfectly fine in windows, but Linux seems to have way better performance.

Just to download it. It says running Linux Native.

are you sure the controller works anywhere?
is the controller displayed if you type xinput into the terminal? (Alt+F2 might open a runner, then type xterm)

It does work on steam games. or at least the two I've tried. Barony and Steel and Rabbit.

#

Let me boot back into Linux and try that one sec

xinput doesn't work at all says not recognized. This might be a distro issue.

and this is a semi-immutable Linux so I'm not sure how to properly install things that aren't found in the app-store yet. I'm going to try consulting the Bazzite discord. Steam games work amazingly, Tetr.io is one of the few non-steam games that I play.

#

KDE does show it as being recognized though

Fedora. Also, solved it.

In Steam

Settings > Steam Settings > Controller > Non-game Controller layouts > Desktop Layout > Enable steam input > Gamepad.

This allowed outside applications to recognize the controller properly!
