People who use GNU/Linux are mostly not your average Windows users who have their os as a bootloader for a browser (no offense here). Most people who use GNU/Linux are power users and people can just Google "how to install an app using tarball [distro name here]"

#

Sorry if my message sounds messy it's like 2 am here

well the thing is you're not even really "installing it"

Also, git and flatpak(not sure about that one) Require open source code to install from, which tetrio does not provide publicly

either way i'm decently sure osk's alright with the coverage here since tarballs are very platform-agnostic

#

the AUR release isn't official so if you count that then you can count this too i guess lol

It is not

#

Afaik osk does not try to "hide" the code from everyone and is okay with people modding tetrio as long as people don't modify the game for cheating

tetr.io plus is much more of a patch than it is a fully fledged client

#

tetr.io is not open source, and not expressly licensed for your modifications, but yes, the code is only minified, not obfuscated

ingame chat is togglable, and i have no reason to suspect the AUR release somehow disabled it

the chat was like transparent while in game but you could still interact with it
