I think not being able to rename your account is not something that needs to be explicitly listed. Many websites do not allow for renaming, some only allow renaming once.

Like you pay for Netflix for a month, you cancel but still want to view a movie you meant to watch 4 months later.

in general, we tend to allow new accounts to request a name change from us for things like typos, as well as if an account is renamed to a placeholder for being against our community rules
heck, even if you end up recreating for it we tend to just give a warning and move on. we're not sharks, we gotta upkeep the rules but the most important part in our policy is to consider intent
having username changes for other reasons be paid is a common feature. tetrio is a free game, but it is not free to operate. all our main staff is paid, servers aren't cheap, it's my more-than-fulltime job, etc. and Supporter really isnt that expensive.
i've thought before of allowing you to redeem a username change after the supporter expires, but making this into a robust system that people could understand is not something i know of a solution for.
in addition, i'm going to need to ask you to remain civil here. it's ok to be frustrated but don't tell people to stfu

osk does not have any pay to win mechanics, any perks are not impacting the gameplay in any significant way. There is even a disable ads button in the desktop client.

If so, you know that even with obnoxious warnings people still do not add an email for account recovery

my problem with adding a warning is how would you even tell new players
"hey once you create this username, you can't change it unless you spend 5 euro"
seems kinda odd doesnt it, think from the persepctive of a new player
and you cant just outright say that you cant change the username because you obviously can, with supporter

I mean the message could be something along the lines of "username choices are final" yet that would be disingenuous considering you have the ability to not only change your name via supporter yet as Osk mentioned the mods are willing to change the name for you if you have a legitimate reason for a name change other than "I felt like being X username this month."
Personally I agree with P1nk's statement that most platforms don't tend to let you change your name (at least easily) so it's good practice to double-check your username before submitting information.

If there were any supporter feature I'd see up for cutting out it would be location changing as it's possible for you to create an account in another region (or whilst using a VPN) and have the game automatically assign the incorrect region to you. However not only do I see a reason as to why players shouldn't have the ability to change region at a whim yet I'd also assume this falls under the same category of "ask the mods nicely and they'd probably understand."

if you REGISTER an account with something stupid or not bother to spell check the username thats on you bud, if youre stuck with the name "asdfasfgfgd" then so be it, its not up to the developer to spoonfeed every new user and explicitly tell them how making an account works because its universal for everywhere
