Out of nostalgia and the desire to emulate Tetris Friends, I was wondering if there ever were any interest in bringing over some single player modes from way back. Currently, Zen is the Marathon equivalent, 40L to Sprint; but there's a lack of Ultra Mode which was fun, given the invisible mode at the end of the 15-20 levels, emulating TGM3's GM final evaluation mode; Survival might be pointless, unless it's combined with a Marathon mode set to the classic 150 lines; 1989 can be made into a custom game mode by users themselves through custom settings, but having a pre-made one couldn't hurt; and N-Blox is cursed.
Outside of the single player modes of old, there were some offline multiplayer game modes relying on other players' recorded gameplay, like Battle 2P, Battle 6P, Sprint 5P, and Rally 8P. Not sure if it's even remotely worth looking into those, but they were interesting to say the least.
