So basically you don't update it manually Just go to spoofer and select on spoof play store (after uninstalling android system intelligence updates if you installed manually) and then restart and search on Google android system intelligence and open play store page and update it

Simple fix. Don't enable play store spoof Uninstall asi updates. Search Android system intelligence and click on install it will show a play store pop up tap on update and your issue is fixed.

Hi there, I'm a newbie here and wanted to ask something that I hope doesn't break any rules.

I'm using a Pixel 3 XL and installed an EvoX 10.7 (non rooted). Somehow, now I need to root my phone to use some mock locations feature within magisk (I guess).

Correct me if I'm wrong but, as far as I did my research how to do it. Here is what comes to my conclusion about how to root on my device:

1. Download the pixel firmware that contains boot.img and/or init_boot.img, make sure it's the device that I'm using
2. Do the patch using the installed magisk app on my-non rooted-deviye (yet)
3. For the patched boot.img/init_boot.img, install using adb flash for the general step

The questions are:

1. Are those simplified steps of mine in the correct way?
2. As far as I know, those steps are used for rooting the default rom for each pixel, not a custom ROM like Evo X. So, I guess there's another way that I don't know, right?

So, I have another phone that runs A13 with a installed non rooted other custom ROM. On that device, I can spoof my location using smali patcher (I guess, and the step was I only replaced the generated services.jar into the default services.jar), totally works flawlessly.

Is there any chance that I don't have to root my Pixel 3 XL on Evo X, using that exact same step (replacing services.jar) so I don't have to root my phone YET I can spoof the location? or are there any alternative ways that I don't know?

If you ask why I don't want the rooted phone, it's because of the banking app I need to use on daily and I think it's quite a hassle to do so (hiding the root status etc)

Magisk is literally the worst root method if you want to use banking apps. Use ksun kernel provided by onelots and just pass integrity and the banking apps will work.
