Hey everybody.i want to root my evolution x 8.3 and I downloaded magisk 27.0.changed the apk extension to zip and I tried to flash it on latest orange fox version.but after flashing I face bootloop.it stays on the screen which is written redmi.then tried to flash magisk version 26.4 by magisk manager option on orange fox but the same issue...so is there anything I do wrong or magisk is not completible with evolution x?

Hey everybody again.Let me explain something.First i flashed evolution x 8.3 on my redmi note 7, the data folder was encrypted so i could not modify or reach some root files.So i re-flashed the rom.The gps was really fine for that first time.But now i can not catch any gps data.It gets 45-55 gps but signal is almost zero.Is there anything we can do to fix the issue?I already added some ntp servers for my country in gps.conf file but it does not work.
Note: I use GPS status and GPS locker apps to update gps data and check the status.

Hello guys, i'm very new with this evolution x custom rom. Currently, i'm using the 8.3 version. To this day, i have already experienced some issues especially crashing. I encountered the problems when i changed the dark mode to normal mode and vice versa. Pressing the dark mode toggle on the quick setting isn't smooth and cause a lag, even causing a crash that dragged me to the lockscreen. I have encountered some random crashing too when changing lockscreen style clock via wallpaper&style, and there are more. Are you guys encountered these issues? Sorry for the bad grammar, not a native speaker.

I have some suggestion about the security. What if on the lockscreen, users can see quick settings and power menu but can't access them? I think that feature is very useful to prevent misuse by others. i got the inspiration from the AOSP custom rom that i used before and from the one ui.

Hey there @tame crystal I'm using EvoX version 8.3 on my Note 7S for quite some time now and its been running smoothly but there are two issues I'm facing currently...

First is whenever an app is not responding for a second, a popup to wait or close app keeps showing even after the App starts working and it keeps on popping everytime I click wait so I have to close the Prompt and as a result close the App.

Second is the Issue with Bluetooth Sharing, the bluetooth send option is not showing in my Files app and I cannot even receive or sent to any device using bluetooth but having said that Bluetooth pairing for listening music is working great

I don't know if there is an update in the pipeline or not but please look into this issues, Thanks 🙏
