because you wipe cache and wipe cache/dalvik (this is based from my testing and observation), it will get fixed automatically when you charge your phone to a 100%

You don't have to enable zygisk each time you want to hide root from an app or flash any modules to hide root. Just flash KSU and that's it.

Hey, first time flashing this ROM and I have a couple of doubts after reading the instructions in the sticky notes. Mainly which TWRP versions to use and when to reboot to recovery in the flashing steps. I come from an A13 ROM, so can anyone confirm if the process is something like this?

1. Install latest TWRP (twrp-3.7.1_12-v8.6_A14-marble-skkk.img) with fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img and reboot to it.
2. Flash my region latest HyperOS firmware (OS1.0.8.0.UMREUXM). No reboot.
3. Flash ROM and format data.
4. Reboot into recovery and flash LOS KSU for root.
5. Reboot to system.

Thanks for the confirmation! I ended up using latest TWRP and faced an issue with the touchscreen not working in recovery. For other people coming from A13, maybe it is a better idea to first flash latest HyperOS ROM with MiFlash, that fixed my issue with TWRP and everything else went without issues.

AOD

The latest test build is somehow "fixed" AOD but not entirely, let me explain.

After enabling AOD, the screen will flicker once. When you turn the device off and on again, it will flicker once more. After that, the flickering will stop, but please note that it may occasionally flicker once in a while. (Tested with/ without charging and has same results + didn't experience any screen freezing or touch is not responsive/working)

AOD is usable from what I can see especially compared to the last stable update which has too much flickering and is unusable.
(One step closer on fixing it)

But based on other users AOD is still broken even after flashing the latest test build and idk why that happens.

AUTO BRIGHTNESS

Auto brightness is not currently working on the current test build in my end and also for other users. Based on what I tested and other users it is caused by the light sensor not working (checked using DevCheck and someone already provided logs for it afaik) but I think this will be fixed based on your previous statement that Lineage already fixed some sensor problems.

Never experienced the Battery Icon is missing (Latest Stable build and Latest Test build). The battery style I used is Circle if that helps.

It's possible that some users switched battery styles before, and after removing those styles causes their battery icons missing although this is just an assumption.

BATTERY LIFE

I'll test this after a few more test builds or after the release of the stable build.

CONCLUSION

Overall it still has a good performance as last time, no random shutdowns or random ui crashes but noticed high temps when charging goes to 43 °C to 45°C even at night which is weird.

The same thing happens to me with the AOD, the screen flickers.

Although in my case it does get blocked, when the screen flickers a lot it causes the touch to lock and I have to force the cell phone to turn off.

I'm using the latest version that was passed here
