Cant se Cut scenes in game.

So Ive been playing some on my laptop(Razer Blade 15). Everything works fine but i cant see cutscenes. Its just a black screen, not even audio. Can still play sandbox because intro is skipable but i cant play the storyline. I can watch the videos from the gamefolder in windows just fine in both vlc and mediaplayer but in game its just black.

Im on a Blade 15 Advanced
i7-11800h 2.30Ghz
32gig Ram
1Tb m.2 Disk
Windows 11

I have updated all my drivers, codecpacks and windows.
Still wont work. Any one have any ideas?

you can try verifying game files, also you can go into the game main folder and see if you have the correct codec for your OS to even be able to play the video type.

you can look up K-Lite Codec pack and install that to be 100% sure, all this does is allow your OS to player many different video/audio types. as the game uses .MP4 files it's very possible this is the cause.

Yeah, so as i said in my original post. My codecs are updated. But i downloaded k-lite againg and did a fresh install with all codecs included. And as before, no problems playing files in VLC and MPC. But i did notice that The regular media player cant play any mp4 files. And nothing i do will change it. Not shure why that would be a problem but it might be related. I have tried reinstalling Media player. Updating windows files and downloading 3 different codec packs claming to add mp4 support to media player but i still get an error when i try to play them.

Im at a loss. Mabye i just need to give up on this. Ive never had this problem in any other game. Lets just hope its a isolated issue.
