There was an issue in v.99.12, steam failed to update the game properly for some players, and they're experiencing major problems on their saves now
To be honest, there's nothing we can do to rescue these saves, they're unplayable now 😢
Only thing we can suggest is beginning new game AFTER validating game files

Hello, I have exactly the same problem that I was able to reproduce by installing an outpost with some constructions on it. After restarting all the drones are inactive.

I tried an ealier auto save and the exact same thing is happening

I have validated the game files and it said all good

the amount of hours I have placed into this save is heart breaking

it also didnt start doing it until way after the .99.12 update

only way to know for sure is elimination , you'd have to start a new save and get to the point where you have buildings that build the same things, if the issues doesn't reoccur then the issue was with that save. also to note it is an early access game and issues like this so arise sadly.

so in a prev auto save the error is not immediatly popping up, is it garuenteed to if i keep playing this auto save?

Honestly i don't know, I had the bug a few times, but i make a new save every update to avoid these kinds of issues, as the game is early access i expect things like to to come across 🙁 i have loads of older saves bug get broken beyond repair. you might get lucky and an older auto save is fine but dont get hopes up.
