Game-Freeze after loading save-game and unpause

1. Since Game version 0.93.16, was working before
2. Game freezes after loading save-game attached and unpause the game
3. Start Game, load save-game attached and unpause
4. Repeats every time i try to load the save-game and unpause the game, even after patch and save with another name and game-version

With a fresh start the game is working.

i was able to load your save - but do not have good news (keep in mind, i am not a dev, only helper)

• WASD around on the surface okay (paused, 26 FPS)
• saved it again (i have 93.26)
• went down with tab
• switched off some modules, switched off output of storages
• turned of the extractors, turned of the carbon fiber
• hit play 1x - 10 second pause then game continued
• 30 seconds later, game freezes, does not come back. RAM stays the same now, one CPU 100%

@ripe leaf thx for the analysis. sadly it seems that there is some kind of overflow which causes the cpu to run wild. i tried the same you did (without changing modules and storages) and got a different output (see screenshot). Game freezes anyways as soon as i hit the play button.
Seems like the save-game is lost 😉

Loading your save CluNello it wasn't a CPU problem, it was a GPU problem... Your save hard locked the game for me...

thanks for the info. so that save uses 10GB VRAM on your machine.
I only have 4 GB VRAM. And previously, that and an addition 3.9 GB shared VRAMwas used.

With 0.93.28, the "saved_again" loads fine, i can interact, and it freezes 5 seconds after i unpause.
the moment the game freezes, GPU utilization ("3D" in task manger) drops to zero.

the saved again here #1273329356705501304 message you can load, WASD around, dismantle and so on. but for me, i unpause to 1x, then it runs for 2 to 5 seconds, then it freezes. GPU usage hits zero in task manager.

if i let it load ... then wait another 30 seconds, i can <Tab> fine. It takes a couple of minutes to "settle" after loading. all on pause of course.

Thing is, yeah, it takes some time to process after load, but it freezes almost right after it runs and you unpause it, it shouldn't be happening

yes, and i had the hope that a dev can see more than when i load it with release.
i dismantled 99,5% of the base (kept solar and the big buildings on topside) and then it did not freeze. but i had to dismantle everything, it took almost one hour.
There is a chance that the cause could be found. It is not about that exact save.
Edit ah yes and i clicked on every vehicle in orbital view and made it move a spot - so that they idle

Yep, it's not about this or another one save, it's something causing it. We have one idea what could do that and gonna investigate it
