had an issue where I knew I couldn't make a deadline, and the truck was in the Expedition center filling up. I canceled the contract, but the truck didn't come out! Instead, it continued to fill with 4 THOUSAND bricks (I had to buy some from the market), and only when it was done, it came out... and started to go to the moon!
I called it back before it left my map and had it dump the bricks out.
So clearly it didn't react at all to my cancelling of the contract. I was not allowed to delete the building during this time either.
Additionally, because that initial contract was so big (many thousands of items), I had sent a second cargo truck in there... but that one NEVER came out.
When I stated a second contract (more manageable), on the map screen, it said the second truck was "loading", however, when you click on the Expedition center it said "waiting for vehicle".
So basically it ate my second truck :-(
