Put it this way. For Warthunder, you don't know when a patch will release. You start to get devblogs approximately 2 months after last patch, they go for a few weeks, then the dev stream will be announced 12 hours prior to the stream. They have an English one and then a Russian one, then the dev server (equal to test server) drops. They might have it run for a few days, maybe another dev server after a bit, and then at some point they'll announce the patch will drop in 12 hours. Meanwhile wargaming has been like "Hey here's what's coming in the patch two versions from now, here's a schedule, here's changes you can expect." They're smaller updates than Warthunder has content wise, but they're more regular and better at communicating.

Also the difference in test/dev servers is night and day. Warthunder has essentially a copy of your account, with no extra gold/silver added, you can grind things if you want as there's 5x xp on everything, but if you want to properly test stuff out, good luck if you don't have a press/cc account. I love WoWS' test server in how it functions in comparison.

How sus would it be if a player in a BB, who is actively engaged with an enemy, manages to swap to ASW planes, aim them, and launch them.

In under 8 video frames from the time i actually get spotted
